Frank - Just idle curiosity: was your comment primarily driven by the photo that was attached, or have experienced this yourself? And I fully agree - it makes NO sense, and is VERY frustrating. But I'm not so interested in complaining about it as I am finding a solution!
I have the same issue. It's stupid Ford did this.

My 30 mar 22 build does it also. It would Be a great improvement if it were not there.

It would be great if Ford could just tell us why! It makes zero sense.

I did notice at night, It blocks out headlights of the car behind you. Not sure if intentional but seemed to fit perfectly.

I did a live chat with a Ford rep that was advertised to me. As she showed me the features of the vehicle I asked about this. She said she's never seen that before and that the dealer service should be able to take that off. At the time I thought it must have been unique to me, but after reading 4 forums on this same subject, it's definitley not just me! Looking forward to a software update removing this banner.

The Ford rep claimed that she'd never seen that before????? Wow! That's a load of excrement. It makes you wonder how many other tall tales she told you....

The few dealers that I've talked to say they can't fix it - that it is a Ford issue, and changes must come from Ford. Maybe that's true... and maybe the dealers make that claim to get them off of the hook because they don't want to fool with it. Argh! I'm letting cynicism creep in....

I want to be able to use the tailgate camera to see cars behind me when I have items in the bed that block the rear view mirror, as today with a load of plants I picked up at a local nursery. I had this feature on my Chevy Silverado and on my Chevy Traverse SUV and it was invaluable. The camera is in place so this is a programming defect by design from Ford's people.

If I had known I could not use the tailgate camera I would have bought a Ram 1500 instead.

I personally don't think it's necessarily a legal issue as we have a 2020 Civic SI that has a blind spot camera on the passenger mirror that shows on the radio when the right blinker is on, and on newer Teslas, you can pull up all the camera views (and can be used as dashcams!!) at speed anytime on their giant center screen.

It's entirely in software and from my understanding added in an update so could be removed.

I don't see the harm in allowing full camera use when driving without silly warnings.

Good news! I have just read that the "Full view not available" message can be defeated through FORScan! (See the newly updated FORScan list.)

Now if somebody can find out how to have the truck just remember your last drive mode without having to select it on the cluster each time.

I have not found an answer to this it's very frustrating though. It makes no sense for them to have done this.
I’m not sure but it may be an anti-voyeur thing or something. ??‍♂
