How's it been working for you a year later? Do you do any OBD monitoring? Just kinda curious if the hybrid battery really takes a beating in terms of degradation, if that makes sense?
Also is the mpg still better than stock or did it average back out to the same as before?
I've got a power boost as well and I'm planning to do the same so I def appreciate this lol... Have you noticed it being any better/worse in electric mode since theres more weight distributed to the rear end?
Id personally recommend doing the diffs and transfer case fluid through the dealer if you do it just before actually hitting 60k miles, mins is at 59500 and it's currently in getting the transmission rebuilt w/ new cdf drum and what not, and I had them do diff fluid and transfer case fluid as...
Yeah I did some longer drives through Cape Cod and was visiting family on Martha's Vineyard, which may have also had better AT&T cell service than where I usually drive around South shore of MA. 6.8.0 came down less than a day after 6.5.0 did lol
I posted in some other threads about this, but I personally swapped both because the last OTA update I had gotten [on the old batteries] was for the BMS, and since it seemed like the original charging strategy was kinda crappy I wasn't sure if prior to that update it was affecting both or not?
Had the same issue on my 21 PB lariat then this past spring I started getting low 12v battery messages in fordpass, so I went and replaced the batteries with an everstart platinum agm h7 under the hood and a Super Start EXT15 14amp battery under the rear passenger seat, then did a BMS reset and...
Thanks for this thread, my '21 PB lariat 502a that has 56k miles now still had the original 12v batteries and I started getting the classic "system off to save battery"/remote start disabled errors in sure everyone here is familiar with lol...
So I just went ahead and bit the bullet this...
I know I'm reviving an old thread, but is this still something you do regularly? Only curious if it causes the adaptive learning to get even more confused or not haha
Been wondering this too, I've had this exact thing happen twice at an intersection where the road im waiting on is a downward slope, and the parking brake engages and disengages very harshly. My truck is a 21 PB lariat 502a
I've had it a couple times before and figured out what was causing it in my situation: I turned the parking sensor alarms off when I was going through a carwash, as my truck has the 360 camera package and it always pops up thinking I'm being crashed into from all angles, but then I drive home...
I never really noticed anything special from the Unleashed system other than the center channel being much louder than the rest of the system (wish my home theater system had this problem tbh, voices in new shows and movies are too quiet lmao) when using Spotify and it's "very high" audio...
Looks good, Ive got the OEM Pirelli ATR 275/60/R20s on my Lariat PB that I'm looking to replace as the tread isn't wearing evenly, and I'm debating trying out the AT3 EV tires that just got released, even though theyre technically for the Lightning. A local Honda dealer is running a buy 3 tires...
You're the perfect person for me to ask then; what kinds of gains your getting with the tune that just adds that E-boost thing, compared to when it was bone stock? I'm personally plenty happy with the how fast it moves, as in my neck of the woods here in eastern MA, most roads that aren't...
Saw in a Powerboost owners FB group that they have an "E-boost electric motor tune" add-on now which apparently holds electric mode longer for better MPGs: https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP631171/2021-2023-ford-f-150-3-5-powerboost-tuner
Wondering if I could get my VIN checked? '21 PB Lariat 502a, last update I received was the Priority update that changed the digital owners manual this past September

Thanks!!
