I'm still of the opinion that the multitude of many pin electrical plugs may be part of the reliability problems. I've not had problems of any significance (so far). If I were king for a day, I'd direct all dealers to include in their receipt inspection checking all of these plugs fully seated.

I can say that my oldest has a fusion hybrid that he bought that would just randomly shut down. Ford replaced a main wiring harness and all his car problems vanished. Maybe since it's on a lift already I can get them to look over that and loose fuses that are mentioned in several threads.

Along with the King for a day thought above... If I were a dealer troubleshooting these "gremllns," I'd have my techs first check plugs seated (at least for the circuits involved) and then keep records of what plugs were involved when a fix occurred. This might reveal a pattern useful in the long run. Sometimes these things can only be revealed with long term tracking. Don't forget that proper seating also fully seats seals that keep these plugs dry (which prevents circuit cross talk from water intrusion). Remember, these are computers on wheels. Your laptop or desktop computer are commonly dry (ever spilled a cup of coffee onto your keyboard?). Thus they rarely see unwanted crosstalk. But toss water into the mix at a key multi-pin plug and weird things can begin happening... and they can change as that water droplet migrates amongst the plugs pins.

My 22 powerboost with 13k stumbled and died on the interstate last Saturday. The Ford roadside service was worthless and after waiting for them to fail to procure a tow for over an hour, we arranged our own. It's been sitting at the dealer ever since. They had to start with a fuel pump and despite putting a rush order (they claim) it hasn't shown up. Anyone else have this problem with the truck or parts?
Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

You bet they are aware of the issues! Especially with outlets like Consumer Reports give the '23 PowerBoosts an absolutely appalling reliability score... I was ready to trade my '21 PB with issues and try to get into a new one with a hope and prayer that my luck would be better. Well, we've started looking at Tundra hybrids in the meantime.

I’ve had my 23 PB for less than 3 months, 2500 miles. It broke again for the 4th time. Peoria Ford hasn’t a clue how or what to fix. I had them print the codes shown. I was able to start it up after about 20 minutes using the remote start.

My trouble is the Tundra hybrid doesn't have what I originally got my PB for. A generator to power my travel trailer when boondocking. If not for this requirement, I wouldn't have a hybrid for any reason.

My 2021 Job 1 has been excellent overall. I had a bad battery (main 12V battery) and one minor issue with the auxiliary battery isolator that was repaired same day I brought it in. Over 25000 miles in and I'm very happy with the truck. I've done some long trips in it (one was 7300 miles) and we've used it for camping with our travel trailer. It's comfortable, it hauls a$$, it hauls our gear and trailer, and it handled some really bad road conditions quite well. I'm keeping mine!

Good to hear a story like that. Here in the forums it can seem they are nothing but problems. I loved mine until it died while I was driving, no check engine or anything. Hopefully it's just a bad fuel pump and I get a good one.

I have 2 Hondas currently. Have for a long time. I got tired of hauling them and the smelly gas around and having to deploying them all the time.

The generator on the PB isn't a gimmick.
