So after being towed to a dealer with the correct charger and charging for a day and a half, it's done, they say. I'm not waiting until Monday--I'm heading to get it now. Thanks for all the advice and for letting me gripe.
Well, they finally got the fuel pump, and the engine now fires up and runs. However, the hybrid battery requires an emergency charge, and my shop can't do it. If the Ford technical advisor doesn't get back to the service manager, they are going to tow it to a dealer that can. ?

I can say that my oldest has a fusion hybrid that he bought that would just randomly shut down. Ford replaced a main wiring harness and all his car problems vanished. Maybe since it's on a lift already I can get them to look over that and loose fuses that are mentioned in several threads.
It is the only thing so far. It died and after a few attempts to get it started and somewhere safer it gave me warnings related to the battery. I had several hours to read other threads while I waited for a tow. Ford roadside service left me out to dry and I had to arrange my own tow. Now I'm...
My 22 powerboost with 13k stumbled and died on the interstate last Saturday. The Ford roadside service was worthless and after waiting for them to fail to procure a tow for over an hour, we arranged our own. It's been sitting at the dealer ever since. They had to start with a fuel pump and...
Something very similar happened to me with my powerboost over the weekend. Left me stranded on the interstate in 95 degree weather 3 hours from home. Ford's roadside service couldn't find anyone to tow it and we had to find our own wrecker. They did say they will pay for it. No word from the...
