I have a 23 Powerboost with on board scales. Was wondering if anyone knows if lifting it will affect the onboard scales also looking to increase hauling load capability.

Lifting it will affect the OB Scales. There may be a way to deal with that.I have a 23 Powerboost with on board scales. Was wondering if anyone knows if lifting it will affect the onboard scales also looking to increase hauling load capability.
I installed AIRLIFT airbags W/bump stops. Took me a couple of days, I'm 70, so I work slow. It really doesn't allow more payload, allows you to level out your truck with a load.If you add more weight than you take away it counts as payload. #7350 if I remember correctly, or #7400 for the newer models is the GVWR(the most the vehicle can weigh). Heavier tires, and heavier suspension components may help you handle the payload better, but they subtract from the amount you can take onboard.
If you are planning to go beyond the sticker then yes, there are things you can do that will help ??, but I certainly am not qualified to comment. I planned on adding rear air bags and a rear sway bar to help with towing stability for example
Doing that at 70 is awesome! I’m 59 and already move slowly ?.I installed AIRLIFT airbags W/bump stops. Took me a couple of days, I'm 70, so I work slow. It really doesn't allow more payload, allows you to level out your truck with a load.
