91, no 93 in Colorado :/ Don' care what people say about altitude, MPG is worse with 87.

Put 91 octane in the last 2 top offs and got 21.5 mpg on my way from Central California home. Not enough to be scientific about it but it looks like the higher octane may have given me 1 extra mpg.

I don't drive it like I stole it. I drive more rural roads than anything. 4 hour trip to the coast on the highway and still averaging 22 mph.
Neither do I and I am nowhere near that. Most of the miles are from it driving me to and from work. Coming back is all traffic though.

Idk if it's the Tremor or what. But I am so thankful it's a weekend warrior.

I am surprised to see so many people using the higher 93 octane fuel. I towed my 2000 lb bass boat around 150 miles worth of highway at 71 mph, drove around Kennebunkport and Wells Maine for around 200 miles at 35-50 mph with in town stop and go mixed in, and I am at 19.6 MPG right now according to the computer. Truck has very good low end torque with the 93-octane and pulls my boat well.

In hot climates the higher knock resistance is noticeable with 93, and since these vehicles actually monitor and compensate for octane changes, it isn't a "waste," to run higher octane.

This is exactly what I'm averaging. My computer is now up to 22 mpg with just over 2300 mi on the truck. 5.0 two-wheel drive supercrew XL. I have a very steady light foot but from stops on occasion it is fun to wind it out a bit. No real stop and go, mostly North Carolina 2 lane roads 35 to 55 MPH.

I'm really looking forward to my trip from NC to MA and back in September because I think I'm going get ridiculously good highway mpg.

I've figured it's just the use of the truck for me as to why my MPG drops. We took a trip from SoCal to Phoenix, AZ and I managed to pick my average MPG up from 14.3 to 15.6. But now that we are back to daily life, it's quickly dropping. The only time the truck moves is driving the family to soccer practice/games or weekend stuff with the family. We hit a lot of lights and surface road driving (40 mph) and consistently hit heavy traffic.

2WD trucks will average 1-2 MPG better than a 4WD truck, everything else being the same.

I picked e85 because it’s the best shot you Coyotes have of keeping up with me without spending $10k .

Cmon noisy! Put your foot in it! We want to get there sometime today! 😉
