I have a 21 limited powerboost and as of a year ago I've noticed a random buzzing/vibration coming through the floor sometimes on light acceleration (can feel it through the accelerator pedal). I had mentioned it last time it went to ford along with the fault codes and trans issues I had. Transmission was rebuilt and traction motor was replaced, other issues are gone, but the buzzing/vibration still randomly happens. Best I can describe it, it kind of feels like when you hit the rumble strips and the side of the highways ( I am well between the lines when this happens )just not as loud. It is very sporatic, sometimes I won't even notice it on a trip and other times it will happen more often. I had just thought it was me and then I let my daughter drive my truck and she mentioned it saying it was driving her crazy and was very "annoying". Has anyone else had an issue like this?
I am concerned about taking it back to the dealer as they always keep it forever and are probably going to either say unable to duplicate or "it's normal".

I've noticed this on my '21 Lariot PB. It's only been in the last 3-4 months. I think it's a heat shield or something similar, but have not confirmed

I also have a 21 Limited PB and the same issue started about 3 weeks ago. I feel it the most under light acceleration while going slightly uphill. I can hear it but can really feel it in the pedal. The sound is not as loud when I switch to 4WD but it's still there. And of course I have 63k miles on it so the drive train is out of warranty...

I know it sucks for y'all, but is good to see that I am not the only one. I am still under powertrain and have extended coverage. A heat shield sounds more likely, as I had the vibration before and after the trans overhaul and traction motor replacement. I will say the vibration through the pedal is the most annoying part.

Took mine in last week and they did a TSB update. If anything, it's now different but worse. I have another appointment to take it in tomorrow morning. Well see...

I've had a light / thin metal rattle noise in mine for over a year... I'm guessing its the battery heat exchanger or its heat shields based on the location of the noise. If I drive it slow next to a concrete barrier or wall with the windows down it sounds like it is coming from under the passenger side cabin.

I'm curious if that gets covered by the longer 8 years/100,000 miles hybrid component warranty? (I've got 80k miles on mine)

Mine has been doing this now this summer after I've hit over 100K miles. I'm assuming it needs new trans fluid. Similar feeling i experienced in my '16 after about that many miles and a trans fluid flush helped.

I did a pump and dump on my trans a couple of months ago, and didn't notice a change, but my noise might be different than others here (mine is a light metalic rattle, not a vibration)

yeah, fluid pretty much should’ve been changed at 50k if not earlier

The rumble strip crap is generally torque converter issue

For those having this problem, when it starts to shutter or rumble downshift a few gears while holding the speed and see what happens

For sure, I talked to my dealership about it a year or so ago maybe and it was a few hundred dollars it seemed and I still have 175K extended warranty so I passed on it at the time. Will see what they say next time I guess.
