I have a 2024 lariat PB and there is definitely a lag in acceleration wether I’m driving straight or turning.

I can essentially push down on pedal and the engine won’t rev or move for a few seconds.

This is extremely annoying and stupid this even happens on a vehicle.

This happens in any mode. Sport mode. Normal mode. Anything.

anyone have the same issue and get it fixed?

Mine does this sometimes. Or I only notice it sometimes. I only feel like it happens when I’m pushing pedal lightly. There’s a spot near my house where I go around a sharp curve, then accelerate. Notice it there a lot.

I have a 2024 F150 3.5 eco with 51,000 miles on it, I have been having this same issue for the past 30,000 mi.

It started out intermittently and would last for just a couple seconds after I decelerated and then would accelerate. Mostly unexpectedly at the most inopportune time when you are pulling out into traffic.

Now after I drive for an hour or two when I shut it off and restart half an hour to hour later I start out the highway and get up to about 30 mph it doesn’t want to rev up or speed up any more as you keep pressing the gas pedal, when you get the gas pedal about 3/4 down it takes off quickly the transmission shifts abruptly and spins the tires.

I’ve had it to the dealer twice for this and they can’t mimic the problem, I had the tech ride with me with their scanner hooked up but it wouldn’t do it. No codes or updates show up to tell them what’s wrong.

In both of the 3.5EBs that I have had, I had a "flat spot" or hesitation on take off or acceleration. I have remedied it by using 93 octane fuel. The lower octane fuel causes the truck to retard the timing to compensate. I have no more hesitation if I use the high octane fuel. You might try a tank of 93 to see if it resolves your issue.
