A couple of days ago, after 5.2.0 was installed, I accidentally tripped the truck security alarm and I did get notification on the Ford Pass app. Is that new/fixed or just something I never used before?

I've been meaning to try this by intentionally opening the truck by leaving the window down after locking it up. I'll try it later and let your know what happens

v4 had this feature so good to know it works in v5. I've accidentally set off my alarm before.
I had locked doors, unlocked doors, got out and opened another door and alarm went off. ?

It’s easy to lock or unlock the doors by mistake too with the one touch.

4 37.0 we had fuel gauge and DTE. Perfect!

5.2.0 brought DTE only.

5 3 0 percentage of full? Who in the world thinks like this? "Honey my car says 4% what does that mean?" Seriously what kind of nerds are programming this crap. Have they even driven a car. What a joke.

Is there anyone on this Ford Pass Design team with any common sense? Or is it filled with a bunch of software and legal "experts" sitting around, and bringing up hypothetical scenarios where Ford might get into trouble...

Other than that, why would they jump to a percentage?

Or maybe they have an outside consultant working on the app, who is only thinking up changes so that they can get paid for said changes?

A random truck owner from this forum would be a better person to talk to about what the customer wants than whoever is at the helm now. They seem like they are intentionally trying to go backwards, and how is that ever a good thing?

Maybe I missed it, but I noticed that the Google Maps integration has the Lights/Horn button.

I was able to flash my lights and horn this way.

Is this a newly re-added feature? Why can I do it through Google Maps, but not directly in the Ford app? I was able to do this before like everyone else but thought it was temporarily gone completely?

Having both a gauge and DTE was the best part of the old app. Different uses for different people.

It has always been there. The purpose of that feature has always been intended for car locating so putting it under map makes sense.

My Ford pass app is still on 4.32.1. I still have all the goodies that people say got removed in 5.0. What version are they pushing now and has the features returned like the powerboost monitor?

Sadly, none of the missing features have been returned yet. I'm on 5. 3.0 Beta. 5.2.0 for non beta people
