Well, in spite of best efforts to prevent update to FP 5, it was foisted on my iPhone yesterday

Is the newest iOS version working for most? Mine pretty much won't do anything since the recent version update. Clicking on just about any item results in a white screen, then back to where I started from. Remote lock/unlock/start do work though. Location works about 20% of the time, but most times does the white screen thing.

I am using the iOS 18 beta 3 build, so that might be a factor as well.

Looks like 5.3.0 is out. Only things I see for us is fuel level was changed to percent and the extend remote start disappearing is fixed.

While posting Beta screens isn't the best idea I'm disappointed to see that service records are not in the list yet. Ford support on Google Play Store keeps saying this feature will return soon. No mention of anything else returning, but that one has been confirmed for a month in their review responses.

I'm curious what in the hell they're doing to the app itself that they can't start putting the features back in that they deleted. This thing has been patched about 20x already and its behavior hasn't changed. They sell more ICE vehicles in a month that run this app than the total of all their EV sales combined.

I’m thinking the same. The time it’s taking to add features back is painful. By the time this is finished they’ll be on Sync 9! lol

Canned response the few times they post on app stores is they removed features to add stability and will add them back later. ?‍?‍

Post on Ford official forum that they are closing does say features are coming but looks like EV stuff.

A big FordPass App update will start rolling out over the next few months, which will bring redesigned app features and functions. You’ll also get easier app navigation with fewer taps so owners get to what they need faster. Apple Watch integration will add convenience and flexibility. EV owners will benefit from simple sliders for target charge and EV functionality through the Apple Watch.

It does seem they do all their development for Apple and port over to Android. Dealt with this at work with an outside company and it was forever a pain to get their software working on our Android devices.

4 37.0 we had fuel gauge and DTE. Perfect!

5.2.0 brought DTE only.

5 3 0 percentage of full? Who in the world thinks like this? "Honey my car says 4% what does that mean?" Seriously what kind of nerds are programming this crap. Have they even driven a car. What a joke.
