I personally would have engaged an attorney the second this went sideways.

It isn't too late to do so.

I dropped it off at the body shop yesterday. They’ll have it for 3-4 weeks. I repaired the seat issue myself. The air wasn’t coming out of the top portion of the seat when the massage feature was turned on.

Still going on, eh? Been reading this thread as it slowly unraveled and man, I feel for ya as you have really been treated poorly here by the dealer.

I think what has happened is that Ford and the dealer know they've lost a customer for life and so they are doing everything they can to just minimize losses. I had this happen on a Challenger I bought and Chrysler fought me to the bitter end. Even the LL attorney was surprised they didn't just buy the car back and send it to the auction. In the end, the arbitrator gave me all my money back including the rebates and the car ended up with a Lemon brand on the title. It cost Chrysler way, way more in the end with all the attorney fees, etc. The decision makers are not always rational...
BTW, if the paint isn't to your satisfaction when they are done, you can still demand a buy back.

It’s been at the body shop for over three weeks now. I called yesterday and they said that they’ll need it for at least a few more weeks.

Nice, making payments on a truck you don't have. Same here, though for different reasons. Mine's a lemon, waiting on ram to agree to buy it back or tell us to screw off.

Yup! And paying for a rental car.

I spoke with the owner of the body shop this morning. They have the bed, cab, doors, and door jambs on one side complete. They’re prepping to paint the doors and jambs on the other side now and they’ll have to complete the buffing afterwards.
