No. Ford was supposed to call me today and didn’t. I asked Ford about the rental car the last time that we spoke and they were supposed to call me back about it today. The rep did tell me that when I submit to get reimbursed for the rental car it takes approximately one week to process the claim. The reimbursement isn’t a check. Ford sends a prepaid debit card. That’s exactly what I want…a $2k gift card that probably charges me a fee to withdrawal the money from an ATM.

It sounds like Ford is disturbingly well versed in making you whole an enormous pain in the ass, which I find a pretty much normal pain in the ass, albeit vicariously. You are a trooper OP and I admire how you’re weathering this storm.

I have gotten several prepaid debit cards from Ford for reimbursement and it is super easy to get all the cash off the debit card from the bank. It took me a little while to figure out the game but there are no fees or anything and you get full amount in cash.
After receiving debit card, you will need to activate it and you will need the last four digits from your case with Ford customer service/experience. After activation, double check the balance on the card. Go to your bank and request a cash advance and give bank teller the debit and exact amount on it and then to run it through credit card machine, print receipt and then give you cash or you can deposit the money into your account.

DO NOT use the ATM because they will charge a fee.

My son and I were going to the grocery store and he tried turned on the massaging function on the passenger front seat. The lower part is now really weak and the upper part isn’t working. I’ll have to call the dealership tomorrow morning and I guess take it back after I get the paint work done.

Man this keeps getting worse. I would check for a loose connection under the seat. It's possible one of the service techs missed it when they removed the seat to fix the seat cover.
