Just wanted to pass this on to members. Just uploaded my stock tune to the Livernois Cloud yesterday, that I bought clear back in Dec 2024..... I followed instructions but when I went under the hood , it didn't read my ECM when plugged in ..so I got on the phone with Livernois....turns out that when I did the update to my tuner plugged into pc, they have deleted need for the under hood cables and everything is done by the OBD2 port under dash. So everything was saved and downloaded the way it should be, and when loading tunes , you no longer have to do the under hood BS. Just thought I would share..still don't have tunes yet but I will review after I get them.

I see they have tunes available for all the '24/'25 engines now. This could be dangerous for my wallet, lol.

I wonder if this is true for 24+ year trucks? That would be nice🤞

I just got my tuner on Wednesday, it is true, no longer have to go under the hood, just inside. Uploaded stock tune and sent it off the Livernois that afternoon. Haven't got tunes back as of yet. Suspense is killing me!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Worth every penny; especially for the EcoBoost and PowerBoost trucks.

I got the tuner cheap with all the cables , just had to have them wipe it and reset, and was 350 or 400 for the tunes, which I only saved about 200 on getting a used one. I have heard nothing but good about the shift point changes the cylinder deactivation and other stuff. I'm a 5.0 , so I will be getting the exhaust also to give it more tone. I'm chomping at the bit to run the E85 tune with it. I hear it's the most gain from these specific tunes. When I get it loaded I'll let you know , they sent it to me today via email.

I just installed the 91/93 performance tune on my 25 PB last week. Worth the money 100%. I had the JB4 piggyback tuner on it prior, the Livernois option is much better especially on how the transmission behaves and shifts. Makes me question why these trucks don't come this way from the factory.

@jakearb I am guess the transmission logic programmed by Ford that makes no sense has to do with CAFE standards and EPA regulations. Just guessing though. They do the same thing on the 5.0 which makes them feel lethargic until someone like Livernois unlocks it’s potential.

I’m in the 3.5 group, but I’ve been running the 93 tune for just under a year now, night and day difference, in power and shifting.
Last night I put the stock tune back in, truck is going into dealer for service.
The truck feels heavy, lethargic, and the throttle pedal sucks!

I thought all the Tuners were no longer an option to use due to some Ford update a year-ish ago? Or are they available again for specific years and/or Livernois? Would love to use w/ my SCT again.

I had to get them to send me a stock tune since "return to stock" wouldn't work anymore after the unit updated, but I wasn't aware you could just do it via OBD II now.
