This is perfect, now I have proof for my wife that I'm not the least responsible vehicle purchaser in all of creation. You must have your own booth at the DMV
I think you're in good company here, lol. Many of us can be used as examples for your wife.

That is an interesting mix, I like it! Is it weird that I like the 1989 Chevy Celebrity with 2.8 Liter 60-degree V6. I had one for a rental for a couple of weeks. I also like the 1962 Chevy Nova Station Wagon with 250 6 cylinder. Kind of looks like this.
It's not weird. @James1980 Posted a 1996 Cavalier Z24 that piqued my interest. I remember a dude back on RT 231 on Long Island with one that had a body kit and web wheels. Good looking car.

I wish I had a picture of it. It was black with red trim. Fun little car. I ended up wrapping it around a tree. I was 20 years old and as dumb as it gets. Fortunately I walked away with nothing but a sore neck

  1. 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo - 135Kish miles. Was my first car. Learned to drive in a 00 Ford Excursion, but it wasn't practical to drive daily when gas was almost $4 a gallon. So enter the Jeep. Jeep started to need some repairs and had cooling system issues as it had the 4.7L V8. Parents convinced me to trade it in.
  2. 2013 Dodge Avenger, Brand new, 10 months. Wasn't happy with a sedan. Wanted a truck and eventually traded this on the 2005 Ram.
  3. 1995 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer with 200K. Bought it as a project from a neighbor and started wrenching on it. Hadn't done much mechanical work before this. Sold before buying GLI.
  4. 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie 80K ish miles. Traded in 13 Avenger. Traded in for 2013 Ram.
  5. 2006 VW Jetta GLI 6 Speed, Secondary Car, 115K. Learned to drive stick in this. Bought from a dealer cheap with a check engine light on. Just needed a coil pack.
  6. 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn.
  7. 2014 Subaru Forester. Traded in Jetta GLI for a Car for my spouse and regret doing that. Spouse got rid of Forester. and drove Miata and Jeep.
  8. 1994 Mazda Miata Project. Sold off before relocating.
  9. 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 with blown engine project. Put a new engine in, and my spouse drove it for a bit.
  10. 2002 VW Passat. Bought from a friend and sold the Jeep.
  11. 2005 Dodge Neon, Cheap computer for spouse after Passat snapped timing belt.
  12. 2016 Cruze Limited. Neon broke down and needed too much work. Picked this up cheap for my spouse.
  13. 2014 VW Passat. Traded in the 2013 Ram to lower payments.
  14. Brand new 2019 Ford Escape for spouse as we were moving cross country and needed an SUV. Had I known we were moving 3 months prior, I would have kept the 2013 Ram.
  15. 2016 Ram 1500 Sport with 28K miles. Bought during Covid when car prices were not as insane.
  16. 2016 VW Jetta GLI. Bought Outright. Missed my 06 but it wasn't quite the same. Interior reeked of urine and the dealer could not get the smell out. Only kept this one for 2 months before trading it and the 2016 Ram for the F250 below.
  17. 2016 Ford F-250 King Ranch Diesel. Spouse worked for Ford, and they took this on trade and I snapped it up at a good price.
  18. 2000 Ford Mustang GT Project. 64K Miles. Planned to restore.
  19. 2017 Subaru Forester, needed a commuter / around-town car as F250 was too big for parking garages downtown, and Mustang was not in shape for commuting. Spouse and I split and 2019 Escape was traded to get it out of my name.
  20. 2000 Ford Excursion V10. - Was my mom's since new. 126K miles now. The original idea was to use it as a tow vehicle. Sold F250 in 2022 as sale values were quite high due to shortages, and didn't need F250 and Excursion. The rising cost of Diesel was also a contributing factor.
  21. 2020 Ford Escape Titanium, traded in the Subaru as I wanted something with a bit more power.
  22. 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport, Wanted A truck again and traded in the Escape.
  23. 2007 Mustang GT with 80K miles. Was my dad's since new. Sold 00 Mustang.
  24. 2021 F-150 XLT. Needed to upsize from Tacoma for towing trailer and hauling the dog around.
Current:
2021 F150
2007 Mustang GT
2000 Excursion.

Also, several other Explorers as projects and Grand Cherokees over the years, but they were sold off.. Can’t remember exact years.

I will start and obviously with the format below but basically make a list with the model year, Make/model, engine size, mileage at purchase and when sold, and # of years driven. You can make the list in the order you obtained them. I like pictures so if you have some then please feel free to post them.

  2. 1989 Pontiac Bonneville LE 30k to 200k and around 7 years.
  3. 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula project car V6 manual transmission, 30k to 40k and around 3.5 years.
  4. 2001 Toyota Tundra SR5 2WD Extended cab, new to 200k and 12 years then got married and needed to get serious ?.

VERY envious of the 242 homologation R-Sport! Before I built my 245 for racing, I tried to find a beat up 242 for the job. But even the knackered ones in the States were going for too much money and I didn't want to ruin a clean one.

I forgot I briefly had a 1999 Ducati Monster 750 that I shared with my brother, maybe around 2006 or so. That thing scared the dookie out of me, lol

@22stx I like how you snuck in the 3 cyl Geo Metro in that list. Must have been a shock after driving all those bigger V8 cars ?

I'm sure there are more, these are just the ones I could remember now. I counted one time some years ago and it was a little over 100 at that time.
