just to toss some more guts on the subject
if you level front end or raise suspension .. there is a procedure to CHECK the radar in the bumper for the ACC . it has to be in a range for perpendicular space . i only mention it, as the ford performance front struts require this procedure in the installations and i found during research at having a level done, that most shops had zero idea this needed to be done. most check alignment but not the acc radar. my ford dealer was still learning the new ford offered system as well.

Mine does tend to have an annoying wiggle to the wheel on straight road when I would not be moving the wheel at all with it disabled. It's very subtle and I've thought that it is just part of the hands on wheel detection.

If a half inch can throw it off then I would expect something as simple as tire changes could cause issues.

Forscan can do the same calibration that is in FDRS?
Might be worth a shot after I get new tires. Just satisfy my curiosity if it would stop the annoying wheel movement.
Yep Forscan has it in the service procedures. Only takes about a minute to run.

From what I've read before I thought the FDRS calibration was more involved with driving around on streets with laptop plugged in. That might have been for another module though.

Makes sense. The factory stance would need to aim sensor up to achieve level and a level kit would have it aiming high. I think the directions using an alignment bay seem a little extreme just a level floor should do it. Or a good shade tree eyeball with a level guestimate since so many people apply leveling kits and likely never messed with the sensor at all.

The ones for the backup camera, park assist, and 360 calibration are more involved and take longer. The lane centering procedure is pretty quick. 40 mph on a straight well marked road until it hits 100%

yup the procedure looks pretty simple(y)
level ground, combination square with level . i see the biggest problem is folks breaking off the tabs that hold cover on the bumper. many would use a screwdriver vice a plastic flat spoon trim tool to get in there without damage
the lights are easy as well, garage door at 20 feet ?

i found many shops had zero idea about the acc radar module correction or check. that part sort of made me wonder if people actually read the instructions.

i am an aircraft tech. instructions and proper procedures are paramount, along with no extra parts when your done.
i tend to lean on shops to do what is required..period, no extra parts or short cuts..its the ADDDDDDHDDD in me
with all the safety stuff, it would make me want to ensure all the gear is working together.

my lane centering used to wander a bit. now its pretty good. not as good as moms maverick
hers is dead on with very few wiggles.
where as mine does occasionally forgets where its at or chases a gore point at an exit ramp

sun and bugs i have found tend to be the biggest causes.
i think bugs fly higher on the f150 than the maverick with a lower windshield height.

From my understanding it's the same software but not using the attention cameras. The icon at bottom of dash is listed as "Bluecruise" in the manual. Even with Bluecruise I wouldn't trust it completely, but I do relax and just ride along with hands resting. Ready to right the ship if it tries to run me off the road or into a wall.

The Tesla crowd was using the same tricks on that system and cruising along sleeping as I'm sure you've seen the same videos online. I hope F-150 owners are wiser.

My 2022 is ping ponging bad after 1.5” leveling kit and 275/60/20 all terrain tires.

I was able to adjust the front fender height in Forscan, but then trying to run the service procedure for lane assist calibration and it gets to 40% and gets interrupted.

I’m on a straight road that has lanes that are well marked and 40mph

Anyone have any tips as to what’s going on here or what I should do?

Did you change your new wheel well arch measurement to match? Not that you absolutely need to, but it definitely won't hurt.

I have bad ping pong too after getting some larger tires put on. @aclosedmind where did you find the ride height adjustments? I cant seem to find those in the IPMA module...or is it a step in the service procedure to recalibrate?

Blue cruise doesn't really add anything except irritating eye detection even when not on blue cruise roads. Other than that it is the same system but has GPS so that it knows in advance if a bend is too sharp for it to confidently make and shuts off in advance of going into that bend. I turned off blue cruise via ForScan because of the incessant beeping to watch the road and am much much happier with my truck having just regular lane centring which does the exact same function if you have a weight on the wheel to make it think your hands are on the wheel
