we need a "TRIM" button for the lane centering so we can make little lane adjustments
i drive with my fat hand on the left side of wheel and it tends to give enough resistance to keep it on probably 80% of time without the annoying IPC alert and bong bong noise
i have a really cool winding road i take to the other town, there is one curve that is not a constant radius, it starts slow then tightens then back to a milder radius, its almost 3/4 sweeping right turn, then a soft back to left
i can go almost hands free on this turn at 70 mph ( the posted speed limit) , it even tightens up in the tighter radius . no shoulder, just painted lines, it will raise the hair on the back of your neck. i still have a soft grip on wheel to take over, but so far since new it loves this curve. IMO thats how lane centering should work. and i think the open pilot will.
