Yes, this is pretty much good advice in general for towing.

You can also set path angle amplitude to 0 when towing, and just tweak the Predicted Curvature Ratio. PC is much less twitchy than path angle and should help smooth things out.
Thanks, I’ll give that a shot. In about six months, I’m going to go live full-time out of my RV pulling it every so often with my truck as I move from location location across the country. Hopefully I get more comfortable or I just learn to not drive when it’s windy out lol

I don’t want to move to an F250 and give up my 3x

It really is. But that also why it explains why I liked very different profiles up until now.

look at my in lane adjustment as well. I believe you told somebody they should never go above -4. I’m at -8 and sometimes I contemplate going to -9 or 10.
going that high on offset means you are really fighting the curvature. Probably would be better served to remount the device move where it thinks center is.

About to install Comma 3X. I’ve got everything I need in hand now. Two questions: first, does anyone know if a good OBD splitter with a OBDlink EX Bluetooth dongle hooked up would interfere with the Comma’s operation? I like having the Bluetooth dongle hooked up to track parameters on my phone when towing. In others words, can the two operate simultaneously. Second, does anyone know if the little hands on steering wheel graphic that pops up in the middle of the tach when Ford ACC is fully operational will come up to tell me OpenPilot is in control? I don’t have the bigger hands free graphic that pops up for BlueCruise because I don’t have Bluecruise (makes sense, doesn’t it?).

Yes, an OBD splitter is okay to use and hookup your BT Dongle

yes you will get the LCA icon when OP is engaged.

The comma will run without the OBD plug as well... It just takes a few extra seconds to get booted. Mine has been unplugged for a week or two, and it is always booted and ready before I get out of my neighborhood

I am stumped at a ridiculous place. I can’t get the cover off the a-pillar handle to unscrew the panel to run the USB C cable down to the footwell. I am buggering up the handle. What’s the trick? I’ve removed the a-pillar panels on my old super duty, but this cover seems stuck! Any insight? I’m ready to plug everything in.

Well, I missed some steps. In the left hand column where Device, Network etc appear Blue Pilot does not. Only Sunny Pilot. What step did I miss. Sorry for the trouble.

Well, I missed some steps. In the left hand column where Device, Network etc appear Blue Pilot does not. Only Sunny Pilot. What step did I miss. Sorry for the trouble.
BluePilot settings menu will not appear until you complete a drive and it can validate you are a ford vehicle.
ALso dont forget to select your vehicle from the "vehicle" menu beore your drive.

I selected the Ford hybrid 22-23 but the screen keeps saying Cruise fault:Restart the car to engage.
