HVAC Recall????

At the dealership today for a driveshaft issue and they told me when I bring it back they will perform a a recall programming for the HVAC.

Anyone hear of an HVAC recall? Going to Ford's site and checking my VIN I see no recalls for my VIN.

Possibly but that one is for 21-23 models and doesn't mention 24's.

I had an OTA update a few months ago that addressed something with A/C air flow in my 24. Wish I had more details to share.

Thanks. I too received that OTA update. They used the word recall which left me scratching my head as to what in the HVAC system could be a dealer required update. He told me it was in their OASIS system. Guess I'll try to find out more when I take it back on 6 Dec.

I wish Ford would push out an update that removed the stupid anti-fog auto flip to fresh air when the heater is on crap. By the Gods that shit's annoying.

Was curious about this too, my dealer just called me today to book my 24 in for the TBC retrofit install and mentioned the HVAC recall. I never received a notice and nothing on FordPass about it. They said it was just a module update.

I looked at FDRS SW Update and didn't see anything in there for a HVAC update. Must be a procedure to be able to install it that I don't see but I was able to update 8 other modules.

Here's what I got today. It would appear it applies to me and should have been done prior to delivery. The invoice says performed but no update required. IPC personal settings were erased so maybe they did something.
