So I should be ok with going from 10 gauge to 18 gauge ?You are correct. My mistake. I thought it was 10
18 is what it calls for. At the SCCM to the BCM..

I think all u need is the sccm the clock spring shouldn’t matter because that’s the other buttons on steering wheelIs both a clock spring and SCCM needed? (Lariat)
Thx
I’ll see if I can make a vid when I get time do the install if not picsI think all u need is the sccm the clock spring shouldn’t matter because that’s the other buttons on steering wheel
So I would need the entire assembly, not just the airbag contact assembly like you have listed here?ML3Z3F791BB
This is the Complete assembly with turn signal stalk
ML3Z14A664B
This is what they call the Airbag contact assembly
Thanks! This is what I got WT-1004 but it’s a 18 gauge, I haven’t wired it up yet, I hope this is the correct terminal going to BCM

Which level trim do you have? Just curious I’ve been thinking about doing this but I have a 301AI’ve read through this thread like 10 times. Can anyone summarize for me?
I have a 21 XLT
I believe I need to order:
- steering wheel ML3Z-3600-RA
- clock spring ML3Z-14A664-B
- steering wheel bolt W721079-S437
Do I also need a SCCM? Anything else that I may have missed? I don’t plan on buying new hvac controls and will just update APIM to f250.
Thank you!
Pin 2 is hot and pin 1 groundOne more question for those that have done this, which wire on the 2 pin connector at the back of the SCCM is power and which is ground? Got everything installed today and just need to run the wiring later this week. The rest of the install was a piece of cake, thankful the steering wheel is so easy to pull since the first clockspring I installed was bad!
That’s frustrating when you have to do the same job twice like that. I’m prepping all of my parts (I believe I have everything) and FORScan updates to make the HSW the same as the factory install (I haven’t seen a list of all required or optional changes), there’s a few remote start bits that need to be toggled, but I gotta wait till I’m healed up from my bicep reattachmentOne more question for those that have done this, which wire on the 2 pin connector at the back of the SCCM is power and which is ground? I found a 502A that is optioned very similar to my 501A and compared the As-Builts. This is what I have come up with so far:If anyone has a list of all forscan updates required, it’d be great to see, otherwise I can share what I have put together so far, for peer review lol
