Always have had the Truck Covers USA roll cover. It has Yakima HD rails, I went with skyline towers for bike and ski racks.
We still have a truck running a truck covers USA cover that’s 15yrs old and works and looks like new, and their support has been fantastic
I also enjoyed having lane centering while using my bike rack with lights. Don’t see any safety issues with that, in fact I’m probably less safe now since I just don’t plug the lights in.

On the aggressive treads side of your request but my Wildpeak AT4Ws have been good for noise, traction in rain snow and fire roads.

Had the Toyos on my last truck and Discount Tire couldn't get them balanced well, but they performed pretty well in all conditions.
For what it’s worth I also noticed this from my air vents of my 2021, and went through all the same troubleshooting to no avail. Dealer also dismissed it.
Covercraft for when I’m parked longer in the sun, and a pop out cover to throw up for a quick hot parking place.
The covercraft absolutely blocks more heat - and all the other windows are ceramic tinted.
