You have to have a home / business router that can be setup to track such things. The vehicles don't tell you anything in regards to what / how much data they're passing be it wifi or cellular.Where do you see this upload data? Router or somewhere in the truck?
EU is far ahead on such things with data privacy. California has tried a few things but nationwide laws need to be in place. I think we will get there eventually. You have to have a home / business router that can be setup to track such things. It'd be rather nice if there was a law compelling disclosure down to a T though. No more nonsense policies full of loop holes. Full disclosure of each piece of data a company takes, what it does with it, every time it's acted on / sold / shared /etc..., what precisely was sold and to what company, and of course the ability to opt out to any portion at any time with no penalty to the customer. Just need a govt that actually understands it works for the people.
if you can see host names, it shows up as sync. How are you guys identifying your trucks wifi adapter/mac address? I have quite a few unidentified devices showing on my router...have been slack about properly naming new devices that come into the house of the past 6 months.
Thanks - I had to go out to the truck and toggle on wifi again.if you can see host names, it shows up as sync.
