Power up 6.2.0 just installed on my 2021 Job 1 truck. A week after getting 6 1 0.. it's a GWM update and I see no noticeable difference. Now the wait is on for 6.3.0!

The only things I noticed while driving around town today was auto shifting in the lower gears a little rough...just enough to notice. Then the turn signals stopped making their familiar sound effects. When I got home, my FordPass alerted me that the 6.2 upgrade had completed. Aha! That must be it. Went back out and fired her up. Turn signals audible again. Just like a PC...it needed a reboot after an upgrade. o_O

The weird thing is the first drive after 4.3.6 or 6.1.0 I had similar issue with turn signals super quiet. Now all back to normal on later drives. Very weird issue but it fixed itself thankfully.

No 6.2.0 for me yet. I'm missing out on preparing for more updates to prepare for another update. ?

Jumped from 4.2.4 to 6.2.0. Maybe it had something to do with the factory recall work done last week.

I also notice transmission shifting can be a bit wonky after some updates. It seems coincidental but it must not be.

I personally find these kinds of updates annoying....'small adjustments' like WTF, just tell me what you did....your font doesn't need to be as big as it is, and there is clearly more space to write, so just tell me what you did to my truck, even if it's too technical for me to understand...otherwise keep your 'small adjustments' until you have a real update to send me.

Do these updates give anyone 'warm fuzzy' feelings when Ford send them, like they care for you and are giving your truck a nice hug....all it tells me is they either forgot something on the last update, and it could eff everything up, or they are doing who knows what, maybe taking the BMW approach, oh now you need a subscription service to use your heated seats...

After 6.2.0, I noticed that my turn signal sound wasn't in-sync with the flashing arrow(s).

I believe this is with the goal to get same software across the different hardware versions. Plus large updates tend to just fail downloading or installing so smaller chunks make sense.

I get that, I just want them to explain what they changed/updated.
6.1.0 - Blue Cruise map update
we then jump right to 6.2.0 - small adjustments

Seem like if they were just small adjustments we'd just go to 6.1.1 or something of the like. Granted I know nothing of how Ford is running their update numbers, just doesn't make any sense to me. Which honestly it doesn't have to, I'm just ranting cause I'm bored this morning...

The numbers make no sense at all because you can get some of them out of numerical order. Skipping over 5.x completely leads to more confusion with people asking what they missed.

I think that Ford used some 5.x.x update numbers for the Mach-E. I can only guess that there numbering system spans their entire product line. and isn't necessarily a 1,2,3 kind of thing for each vehicle. ?

Doubt it's a coincidence.
More than likely evidence that the PCM recieved an update, which clears the adaptive tables.

Two updates in two days. 6.1 Monday, 6.2 on Tuesday. 2022 502A PB.

Has anyone identified the modules affected by each of the updates? I'm curious what this, and the new 6.3 update, are impacting.
