This thread is eerily timely for me. I had plenty of electrical issues with my 22 PB and have had zero issues with my 24 PB up until this last weekend. The truck sat for 4 days in my garage, ~55-65° temps, and when I started it on Sunday, the chimes/tones were the "brash" sounding type. I got...
I was going to dive into this sound on my 2024 this weekend. Backing out of my driveway and having the steering wheel fully left makes the front passenger grinding/rubbing sound. FX4 package for what it's worth. I'll be watching this thread for more info!
I've heard about those braces from Cobb. They don't have MY24 on their fitment list but I'd like to try it. Is it the actual opening/entry point of the snorkel that's collapsing?
I was pulling onto a state highway yesterday and visibility was limited due to sign (temporary; installed to advertise who a construction project is financed by). I had to go full throttle once I entered the highway. First, I was pleased to have the power, but I glanced down at the dash and...
I have a 2024 Lariat with the Dynamic Bending headlights (they dance at start up). I had my truck in for the upper radiator air deflector CSP and asked the shop to raise my fog lights. When I picked it up, they said they adjusted the headlights upwards, not the fogs. Now I'm getting flashed...
I had my 2024 into the dealership and the parts for the fix came in today. I was picking up some other parts and asked the service manager if I could have the parts and repair it myself, with proof. He handed me 4 bags of the clips and said that’s it. I questioned him about the deflector, as I...
I had this smell in my 2022 which did not have a moonroof. I would describe the smell just as you did. I had to turn in the lease before I could fully troubleshoot it.
My wife's 2022 Explorer (no moonroof) smelled the same and I replaced the cabin filter and so far, so good. Perhaps a new...
I have a 2024 Lariat FX4 and am considering raising the front end, solely for looks. I don't want to go 2" because I think that will look strange with OEM wheels/tires.
Has anyone done a 1"-1.5" front lift with OEM wheels/tires and have pictures?
Thank you in advance.
I am wondering this too. I am need of a new tonneau cover and a $785 credit sure would help!
I seem to remember discussions about what Powerboosts were built with as standard compared to what non-Powerboosts were with the Max Tow package. In essence, making the addition of Max Tow to a...
TLDR; Took truck to Ford dealer for CSP and fog light adjustment. Neither was performed, have to go back. Am I justified to discuss this with the service manager/general manger or is this Ford's modus operandi?
I scheduled my 2024 Powerboost with my selling dealer's service department so...
I have the Husky rear wheel well liners and would like to get the Husky rear mud flaps. Does anyone have both? Wondering if I need to remove the liners to install the flaps.
Congrats on the new truck! Here's my take on some of your issues.
1. Sometimes ice, snow, or heavy fog will affect the sensors. When you say it's not blocked, are you referring to the area in front of the sensor or on the sensor itself? Or, perhaps there is a piece of transport wrap stuck...
I am experiencing the same with my 2024 versus my 2022. The 22 would kick into electric mode much more frequently and for longer periods of time/distance than my 24 has. MPG is less (aside from winter fuel and colder temps). I noticed the drop in MPG right out of the gate in September/October...
I had CCD on my 22 Lariat. I thought it was too floaty and made the truck squirrelly.
I have the FX4 on my 24 Lariat. I prefer this suspension over the CCD. The truck rides as a truck should. It's predictable and comfortable.
Years ago, I couldn't get an opener to program with Homelink. The issue was on the opener's side; it had too many remotes/Homelinks programmed to it. I performed a "factory reset" on the opener and voila!
It may be worth checking yours to see if there's max number of remotes it allows.
