Can you verify that Spicer does not offer a different 8.8 diff cover for 2015 and newer f150’s? Summit Racing sells them but they only list up to 2014 for the F150’s?
No idea. I bought the cover for the 9.75 since I have the max tow.
I might just stick with the PPE rear differential cover. The Ford Performance website only lists the 9.75” rear differential cover as well, NOT the 8.8”. So I’ll probably just play it safe.

Yea, I assumed that the 8.8 hadn’t changed over all the years but when selecting “check the fit” then filtering by brand, model, then year. It only goes to the year 2014 on Summits webpage for the Ford F150 (I need 2023 for my particular year).
I do believe Spicer makes the Ford Motorsports cover as well as theirs.

Maybe an oversight but also I found it odd that it wasn’t listed on the Ford Performance website or Stage3 website for the 8.8” either.
*Edit Yea, it appears that the 8.8 changed in 2015 to the “Super” 8.8 with the Ford F150 (wish I had a 9.75”). This most likely means that a lube locker gasket also hasn’t been made and a rtv gasket will have to be used. Again, correct me if I’m wrong but on the PPE website the years prior to 2015 have different designs/bolt patterns than 2015 and onward:

Neither Ford Performance nor Dana/Spicer currently offers a specific differential cover made for the Super8.8" rear end found on 2015–present F-150s. The classic Spicer/Dana rear differential covers that are readily available (like the common 10023538 Spicer cover) are designed for the old 8.8" rear ends (pre-2015) and will not fit the Super 8.8 without modification. That’s why you don’t see an official Ford Performance/Spicer Super 8.8 cover listed from them for 2015+ models — the Super 8.8 is a substantially different housing and bolt pattern.
