Hey all,

Just got my 2022 XLT Powerboost a few weeks ago (dealer still had a new 2022 on the lot). Before delivery, I had them do a 2.5” front level and I just upgraded my stock tires on the OEM 20” rims.

Appreciate all the info posted here, as this thread was helpful to me. I wanted to go 285/65, but this size was available immediately. I’ll be putting a Kimbo camper on the back, so figured maybe it’s good to have some extra space.

I’ve used Nokian winter tires for quite some time and these seemed to have a lot of positive reviews.

Just switched to 275/60r20 KO2's on my 3 week old Lariat. 3.5 eco, 3:55 rear
Currently running them at 46-48psi. I think it handles better "stiffer sidewall". No noticeable difference in acceleration. Little increase in road "feel" since these are true Off Road tires. Haven't checked mpg yet, but I used to drive a Raptor so a little difference in mpg isn't really a concern. Also, I eliminated the Auto Air Dam. I don't understand why they put SUV tires on a truck.

what the hell do you guys do with your stock tires? AM I being cheap? LOL
Nope, I am running those OEM tires until there is no tread left. I still have not decided what the replacement will be.

Leveled my XLT PB with the Falcon 2.25" sport and tow/haul kit. It sits nearly level. I also added 285/75/18 Tires Nokian Outpost AT (lightest AT tire I could find) on the stock wheels. No rubbing or trimming needed. MPG so far has dropped 1-1.5 after 100 miles but still need to recalibrate for the larger tire size. PB electrical engine works as before and so far the difference has been minimal! The Falcon suspension upgrade feels great and it feels centered when turning compared to stock. Still need to take it offroad and put it to the test!

I know this thread is somewhat saturated now, but figured I'd throw mine in anyways.

1.5" level with 295/70/18 Recon Grapplers. Can't say much as far as wet/offroad traction (only been a couple days) but I'm very impressed with how quiet these Nitto's are for a fairly aggressive a/t.

That looks fantastic!!

Did you say that your Ford Dealer installed the front leveling kit? Does that void the warranty at all?

Thanks!

That is correct. They told me it will not void the warranty since they installed it. A couple of the salesmen drove F-150s with the same levelling kit, so hopefully that is proof it isn’t an issue! I never fully trust what the dealer tells me, but I guess I was ok with the risk :)

What’s your mpg looking like? I dig the look and want to do something very similar but enjoy my good economy.
I’ve been watching it pretty closely and I can honestly say that i’ve experienced no difference! I’m averaging 17.8 combined miles (mostly spirited stop and go city driving to prove I’m faster off the line than the occasional Chevy or Ram that pulls up next to me), but on the last 200+ mile trip I just got back from, I hit just over 23 mpg! If you want to keep your fuel efficiency, I recommend sticking with the stock tire size and load rating. The Toyo’s are SL rated and are comparable in weight as the Hankooks that I replaced. If you change the overall diameter or the weight, you’re going to take a hit for sure.
