It’s more like nobody has done it - It seems. And discussion still goes on. I tried. It. It has moved as far as 2km with normal driving and still didn’t stop or give codes.

i also let it idle for 30 mins. I can give it another go but i would not want to damage the truck every time i do this suggested theory if nobody is actually trying it out ?
I wonder if the high pressure fuel pump is sucking fuel out of the tank for the truck to run that long.

I doubt its been mentioned , being you guys are talking about removing fuel pump fuses and such , but do a search on utube for a security system called IGLA . It's unique and effective. I had it installed the second day I had my new truck home. We've aso had one in my wifes 23 Toyota Camry Hybrid for the last year. A thief will not be able to start the vehicle . Its practically impossible to bypass. If they really want it they will have to flatbed it out of there. Theres a couple of good videos under " IGLA in a 2024 f150 " . if it peaks your interest look into it further.

it's been close to 20 years since my last car loan, but it was something like $30 a year for the gap rider. (but if you get it at a dealer, add a zero or two . . .)

I have Travelers Insurance, and they provide this option. I added GAP Insurance to my loan for this truck, but it can be done through insurance carriers too

I have USAA and for like $40 a year the rider they offer is 20% over list for a total or theft. Outstanding deal for a $60k - $70k truck when new.

If your insurance company offers it, get it. Especially when new.
