That is the use case I was thinking. Overnight or multiday stays in a lot. I know others who put a kill switch in but then will have to reprogram all their settings.I may have to give this a try. Pull fuse #4 from under the hood (fuel pump) and try to start it. If it doesn't start then try to put the fuse back in to make sure it will start again.
Down and dirty theft measure but the price is nice. Great for leaving it at the airport if needed.
The other LEO that posted up above was bang on. You'd be surprised how often a truck gets stolen because someone leaves their keys in the truck, unlocked, for convenience. You'd also be surprised how much they will go out of their way to blame everyone and everything when it gets stolen.#1 cause of vehicle thefts are owners not paying attention to security.
If you turn off location on your phone, the ford pass app will show the location of your truck.. for whatever reason, the map location in ford pass defaults to the phones location if it is available, but will pull the actual truck location if the truck has a cell connection and your phone GPS location is offIn terms of finding your stolen vehicle there is the option of adding one of the continuous GPS trackers that show in real-time where the vehicle is located and tracks all activity. One simple one is the Bouncie that plugs into a USB port on the vehicle and so it would be easy to install or to remove and use in a different vehicle.

Mine always shows the actual truck location by nearest address. If you turn off location on your phone, the ford pass app will show the location of your truck.. for whatever reason, the map location in ford pass defaults to the phones location if it is available, but will pull the actual truck location if the truck has a cell connection and your phone GPS location is off
Especially in shitty weather.Downside is having to pop open the hood everytime leaving the truck….Mehhh
She sleeps in your truck at 2am?HAHA. I have a Wolfdog who rides in my back seat..She's sweet but looks intimidating. Wouldn't want to see what she would do if someone messed with one of HER trucks...
