Appreciate the answer. Totally, I am in Canada and I love the F150. I am patiently waiting for mine to arrive. That said, I would hate for my truck to be stolen after waiting almost 9 months for it. That is why I am trying to find ways to make sure my truck is safe.

You're in Canada? I think the only reason someone would take your truck would be to park it in a more convenient location for you.

Convert your trucks back seat area into a dog house and buy the meanest junk yard dog you can find and hope for the best.
HAHA. I have a Wolfdog who rides in my back seat..She's sweet but looks intimidating. Wouldn't want to see what she would do if someone messed with one of HER trucks...

I'm in Ontario and our area was having an issue with trucks and suvs being taken and put in cargo carriers destined for over seas. Thieves were using devices to clone key fobs. I used to worry about it but other than keeping my keys away from the front door and the truck locked, there isn't much else to do. We have kids checking the doors all the time, but mostly just looking for cash and electronics.

They work really well actually. I can go right up to the door with the key in the pouch, and the truck doesn't sense it at all.
There are 2 layers in the pouches though, and at first I had my key in the wrong pouch, and it didn't work at all. Needs to be in the metallic pouch portion.

Yeh I got the Faraday box and I will get those bags for sure. Do you find them useful? Do they actually block the signal??

this is the best antitheft solution, and easy to use. They come to your driveway and wire it in. Insurance checks are a little naïve to assume you’re going to come out ahead. The price could have gone up; a year ago in the US in Texas. I paid $500. Best peace of mind ever.

That is probably the best low tech option I've seen yet.

I do find it hard to believe so many F-150 are stolen unless they are building work truck models without anti theft. We just got new 2023 Ford van bodies in at work and they don't use chip keys. F-250+ work trucks never use chip keys. Even the GM van bodies we have fairly new don't use chip keys for work trucks.

At some point you would think they would incorporate the standard anti theft from the consumer models into work vehicles but I'll believe it when I see it.

Denver International Airport is seeing TONS of newer f150 thefts. Raptors have been going left and right.

After having my 2020 Mustang stolen, I have gotten in the habit of unplugging my Fuel Pump Relay whenever I’m parking my truck somewhere I know it might be a target for theft.

A thief isn't going to take the time to diagnose WHY his "hot-wire" didn't work!

...on to the NEXT victim!

Came across this -- rather interesting. They were stealing new raptor broncos sitting in one of ford's holding lots....

On our f150s it would be #4 on the engine compartment diagram. You just remove the fuse? I just left my truck at an airport for 4 days - I would have been a lot less stressed if I would have done something like this. I checked the location of it every morning but not like I could have done anything about it being several thousands of miles away.

I would imagine just pulling the fuse would do it. I just knew from having a fuel pump relay fail on my Mustang that unplugging it would make it impossible to start my truck and drive off with it.

But I might try that though… just pull the fuse & try to start it.
