Figured I would post a PSA here. To anyone with a 2021 PowerBoost: The new IPMA software released on FDRS for 2021 only trucks has something which does not allow the FORScan changes needed to enable the new BC features to work without throwing all kinds of fault codes and breaking the driver assist features. This seems to only affect the PowerBoost models. I have been working with @Bo15 and @rlell to try to figure it out, but no luck so far. Last night, @Sapphire was messing around with his truck and found something that allowed all the toggles to be turned on and no fault codes popped up on the IPC, but he has yet to road test the truck.

So, if you have a 2021 PB and are on the ACJ software and want to keep lane change etc, DO NOT update the IPMA yet.
It is still working fine on the 2021 Powerstroke diesel also.

I went value by value to correlate to every setting in the Livinitup sheet. I should be able to road test tonight. ??

I noticed I have a strange entry in the APIM that is not on the spreadsheet after everything was updated. My truck now has a 9 as the value instead of the 8 it has always had previously which is not a value listed.

7D0-05-01 xx*x xxxx xx--
0 = EH Electronic horizon Off • EHT MPP + Stubs
8 = EH Electronic horizon EH • EHT MPP + Stubs
4 = EH Electronic horizon Off • EHT MPP + First Level Sub Paths
C = EH Electronic horizon EH • EHT MPP + First Level Sub Paths

Weird. Mine is still an 8.

This is for the auto lane change?

I just pulled another 2021 Platinum As-Built that shows the same strategy and calibration level and theirs shows a 9 for that value also. The spreadsheet must need to be updated since 9 is not listed as an option.

It is possible that with a new APIM update, a new event was added that is not on the spreadsheet yet.

(I just looked at my 2021 backup, and it was 218600000084 back then)

Ok, good to go. Seems like hitch assist does not play nicely with the new IPMA software and the hybrid trucks. Jesse thought it may have something to do with that when I asked him about it. BC 1.whatever this is works fine.

I did a FDRS update run on my truck yesterday, and noticed this little statement under my software listing......

Ford F-150 ECU module programming guide using FDRS 1731076750618-ed

I have not seen this before, so I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts about it. Should I try a PMI on the ACM and see what happens?

I should add, that all I did were IPMA, PSCM, DDM, PDM, GWM & TRM. Was hoping for a TCU to drop and then the APIM... but no luck.

APIM will drop after this GWM and the TCU comes after the APIM. Nothing you can do about the GVMS hold but open the case and wait for Ford to get to it and clear it out. Sucks.
