What is the full list of changes for glare free lighting currently? I saw there were issues with it after one of the software updates and I didnt follow along to see what the solutions were and can't find the thread anymore.

Do they still work and the light just doesn’t come on anymore or they don’t work at all?

With the time change I haven't had a chance to test in complete darkness to verify.

They do the Wig Wag at start up still just don't know about the other stuff.

I've had glare free working for years too (with the green symbols). The symbols don't show up on my dash when in auto mode and the lights are off. The symbols only show up when the lights come on. I don't remember if this was always the case, but I could have sworn the symbols used to be there all the time. Maybe you're seeing the same?

As soon as it gets dark enough my lights come on and the green symbol is there, but like you are saying if you have you dial turned to auto and not dark enough it want be there cause no need for headlights to be on in the day time lol.

A way to check to see if that’s the case throw a towel in the dash where the light sensor is to make your headlights come on.

yes, had to whip out a mongoose, idk why my autel vci wasn’t cutting it, in 2022 my j2534 wasn’t updating ipma on a 2021 f150 limited hybrid but the mongoose worked on that, yesterday mine worked on the ipma and it completed in about 30 mins or so on the raptor. It took 10 hours on that Limited f150 back then. You’d think they’d have some sort of failsafe in place so the module doesn’t go purple in case an update fails, but nope.

I have also had weird issues with autel j2534 devices. I ditched it for a vcm 3 for ethernet and a mongoose. Both have been flawless.

you ever try a cardaq 3 plus? About $1500 used or up to 2000 new, supposed to be really good and it’s also from opus where the mongoose is from, works on everything that requires j2534, not just ford

Does anyone know by any chance when this update would be available? Makes that DTC code (U023A:08) code in the SSM 52914 show up after updating SCCM, pretty annoying when you update a module and new errors pop up because of it, at least it doesn’t affect anything

No, no way of knowing when they will release it. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed back to Q1 of next year like the magic APIM update to fix all the problems got pushed back.

Is there any way to make pro power onboard be off every time you start the truck? I would like to only turn it on when I need it, I shut it off every time I get in, the cooling fan in the module is pretty annoying and dont want to constantly hear it when I don’t need it so I shut it off.

Figured I would post a PSA here. To anyone with a 2021 PowerBoost: The new IPMA software released on FDRS for 2021 only trucks has something which does not allow the FORScan changes needed to enable the new BC features to work without throwing all kinds of fault codes and breaking the driver assist features. This seems to only affect the PowerBoost models. I have been working with @Bo15 and @rlell to try to figure it out, but no luck so far. Last night, @Sapphire was messing around with his truck and found something that allowed all the toggles to be turned on and no fault codes popped up on the IPC, but he has yet to road test the truck.

So, if you have a 2021 PB and are on the ACJ software and want to keep lane change etc, DO NOT update the IPMA yet.
