Sorry to hear your audio is messed up now.
Outside of the one that fixed the static issues I have never voluntarily installed the audio updates.

It is common for some updates to never fall off the list but in your case I would try it again.

It is possible you are seeing a real update to fix messed up audio. ?

It must still be the bad update. I installed it initially the first time just going down through the list not thinking anything of it. Once I realized the audio was now messed up after the update, I went to apply it a second time and hovered over it to see some more info. It says its G2426299-2.0. After applying the update, the same version number shows up... So it just keeps flashing the same update every single time....

Well, the update that messed up the audio for people with the 8 speaker B&O system was a DSP update and not the ACM. Not sure why that update affected your sound system negatively, tbh.

If you do not have a B&O system, then you do not have a DSP.

Ok I did not know that. Still stumped now then. I applied the update a total of 3 times with no change for the better. Its like everyone else has said, barely any bass and have to crank the volume way up. I double checked the equalizer settings and they are all at the default middle setting like I have always had them at.

Sorry I can't advise on that. I have the B&O Unleashed that needed an update to fix insane popping and static etc. That was last year.

I was not aware of an update breaking the standard audio system. I don't know what you can do for that.

I have installed the ACM update a few times and it has not made a difference that I noticed. I do have a TIN ear tho. One time I did install the update, it was to add a sub, which I don't have. It made the radio sound worse. I did a PMI on the ACM and said NO to the question about being the original module. That changed it back to the way it was before the adding a sub.

Since I updated truck with FDRS last week and installed the driver seat module update this code keeps showing up.

No light on dash so I'm not hugely concerned about it but it is being as annoying as the air dam code.

Yep, these silent DTC drive my anal-retentive/OCD brain crazy. Causing some for my "half-mods" has alleviated it somewhat, but I am right there with ya

It wouldn't bother me so much but it was never showing up before I updated the module with the recent update. I don't even know what that update was supposed to do just installed it. I guess I should have left it alone. ?‍?‍

I want to launch a borrow program for the equipment ? would save us a lot if we don’t buy 750$ mangoose or if anyone has 1mo subscription to forscan can share that month with others.

I saw that someone did it. I rather find it local. And just do it instead going though series if transfers :/

So the issue I was experiencing with the low bass response and worse sound seems to be fixed now. I went in and performed a factory reset on sync. After it booted back up, immediately noticed that it was better. Thank god…. ?

That idea was already started here. There are threads for borrowing a Mongoose. I think someone had proposed starting it in Canada but not sure that ever got running.

I've still got an issue with my MY23 truck even after applying all available updates minus the password protected BCM.

After a few minutes of turning the engine off, there are loud but brief and periodic static/discharge popping noises coming from my B&O Unleashed speakers. Lasts for about a minute or two and then the truck seems to go into a deeper sort of sleep and it stops.

Any thoughts on what to do? Maybe redo the DSP update or initialize the DSP module? It didn't happen before applying a DSP update about 6-8 months ago.
