Ok cool! I will verify tomorrow that I dont have any DTC's active for the TRM module. The gain adjuster appears to be functioning cause it shows up on the cluster when I hit the buttons. Thanks!
I just installed the OEM trailer brake controller and I changed the settings in forscan based on the changes to be made below. I was able to change everything except for the TRM values. This is what I have for the values in my TRM module. It doesnt make sense on what to change based on what it...
You don’t “NEED” one if you follow the proper procedure. I was able to do it without using one. I do recommend using a pressure bleeder for sure though. I used the same one that @SALEEN961 used for his truck.
How are you liking the oz tune? I just tuned my 21 5.0 with the oz tune the other day. I am completely stock. I noticed that in normal mode, I have to be going almost 70 before the transmission shifts into 10th gear. I see your in 10th going 58 MPH, is that in normal or eco mode?
Did the brakes on all four corners this weekend and was able to use the same mityvac pressure bleeder that @SALEEN961 used on his truck. Happy to say that I did not have to use a scan tool for any of the process. Before starting the brake job, I put the system in brake maintenance mode per the...
So the issue I was experiencing with the low bass response and worse sound seems to be fixed now. I went in and performed a factory reset on sync. After it booted back up, immediately noticed that it was better. Thank god…. ?
Ok I did not know that. Still stumped now then. I applied the update a total of 3 times with no change for the better. Its like everyone else has said, barely any bass and have to crank the volume way up. I double checked the equalizer settings and they are all at the default middle setting like...
It must still be the bad update. I installed it initially the first time just going down through the list not thinking anything of it. Once I realized the audio was now messed up after the update, I went to apply it a second time and hovered over it to see some more info. It says its...
Ok gotcha. Now Im wishing I didnt do that update since the audio sounds crappy now. Do you think the DSP update that fixes the issue will be released to my truck now?
Thanks @rugedraw @fordtruckman2003 and @Snakebitten for your guys replies and help over the past couple days. I was able to get version 40.4.5 to log me into FDRS on the windows 10 home laptop. Did not have any luck at all with the windows 11 home laptop. Once I was finally able to log in, I was...
So when it finally did work, did it say the same thing, "Charge only USB device"? And then randomly decided to work after a while? I'm having this exact same issue trying to update my APIM with a sandisk 32gb usb drive.
So if I want to try on windows 11 again, do I have to “return” the license key on the windows 10 laptop and then re-validate it on the windows 11 laptop?
