I agree that E would work for your truck. Most likely J also.

I also agree that the new jumpers vs old jumpers seem to be the same thing besides the new ones at nearly 4x the cost. It'd be nice to see a drawing or them in person to know for sure. The wire colors likely will not align, but I'm almost 100% sure the pinout probably does.

I just ran out and connected up with Forscan. I didn't try to locate everything like the input switch, but there options even in the plain text format to enable bed lamps. I'm not concerned about this part at all.

Thanks for that! I’m waiting for my obd to usb to come in so that helps! I believe the “J” harness when I did some research didn't have blind spot sensors in the rear tail light. Standard tail lights have 1 connector the bliss ones have 2 connectors so I think mine is the “E” I’ll pop my tail light off and verify when I get a chance. My next step is going to locate and see how hard it will be to swap the two harnesses before I order anything. Not sure what crazy routes that it takes under the car. Hopefully it’s doable. I priced everything out based on what we have been discussing… if it works I’m happy with the cost. About $340 for everything. Also schematic shows the old jumper harness part numbers for my 2024.. so I think they are the same… see the attached photos

Has anyone had any luck finding any more info yet? I think the parts i would need are listed below. I have a 3.5 ecoboost 501a with onboard scales and just the 120 outlet in the back.

I plan to install factory switch, cable ML3Z-14A411-F on the side with switch because it has connections for both switch and LED, and a WPT1116 for the other LED connector. I will tie in manually (cut, solder, heat shrink) at connector C408... Pin 28 is + for the LEDs, pin 31 goes to the switch, and pin 44 takes me to ground for both lights and the switch. Then I need to know what to change in FORscan, but it should all work like factory at lowest cost. Under $70 from eBay.

Get pics for the rest of the kids. People will be pulling this thread up on search engines for a while.

Still waiting for some parts to come in. Problem with "lowest cost" sometimes means "slowest shipping.". I'm not in a rush. I will report back when I have some results and pics.

The FORScan settings are the same, but they are at slightly different addresses in the BCM on '24 vs earlier models.

Here are the MY 24 FORScan changes I used:

726-79-02 xxx1-xxxx-xxxx
726-71-01 x1xx-xxxx-xxxx
726-79-01 x2xx-xxxx-xxxx
726-79-01 xxx1-xxxx-xxxx

I didn't end up tapping the ground wire, there is a frame ground on the other side of C408. Also, I used Posi-taps instead of splicing. You could easily just cut the two wires at C408 because that's where those wires terminate if you don't have the pigtails.

The wire colors you want are Green with Violet to one side of the switch and White with Green for the positive side of the lights. Other side of the switch and lights both go to ground.

This project is easier if you have a lift, and easier if you remove the spare tire. It can be done without either.

Here's what I ordered:

Lights: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3954158179...N6l7BswQXq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Switch: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3955909334...N6l7BswQXq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY. Issue with this switch is that you have to cut the. Existing blank from the bed, the switch looks like it's the right size, but it's smaller than the blank.

Harness for 1 light and switch: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3056173125...N6l7BswQXq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Plug pigtail for other light (no switch). https://www.ebay.com/itm/3872792144...N6l7BswQXq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

This project isn't plug and play, just fair warning . I had to solder, heat shrink, put wires in wire loom, cable ties, etc. I also put a couple connectors in line to make it easier to assemble and disassemble if needed later. I'll let you figure out what is best for you in those regards.
