It seems all is now well.. thanks a ton to those who offered wisdom especially @Jesse-Infotainment for the help!
Yes I blew out my low beams doing this update. Fortunately my dealer is pretty cool and they happily replaced both lighting modules under warranty.

Please note that this will only work on 2023 F150's or if you have applied the latest IPMA upate to your truck.
Assuming I have the IPMA update, would the 21 get the turn signal cameras with the needed Forscan change?

I would think so. Post your vin and I can look in FDRS and see if it shows up.

So Jesse, @Jesse-Infotainment is the BCM update for quad LED headlights (302a) package still an issue? I haven’t updated BCM yet cause I didn’t want to lose them again like last time.

appreciate any insight you may have.

I cant say.. I havent heard really anything one way or another. I did mine today and reverted it because I had a 12 volt warning and battery low warning and it typically jsut needs to be driven to clear it. I drove across the US and it didnt clear. So I reverted it and it went away the second the truck came back up.

So I am staying away for now.

I know a few people that did it no problem. They were all 502a and up though no quad LED>

Copy that, I plan on not doing the update as well unless they fix the headlight issue.

Thanks Jesse!

That's crazy, doing FDRS updates fried your lights?
Yep. Ford had a bcm update early last year that was doing this. They pulled it. Now it’s back out and still drying the modules. Jesse helped me figure it out and like I said I have a good relationship with my dealer so they replaced without issue.

I don’t have BC either but the IPMA and PSCM showed up for me this morning. You won’t see them doing an unconnected FDRS lookup. You have to be connected to your truck and then do a network scan. Then you should see them.

For non-BC trucks, the IPMA takes about 2:40 with the Mongoose. PSCM takes about 5 minutes.
JEB ...
I wish this was the case for me ... but a connected scan doesn't show any updates for my truck.

This is starting to become a theme and I'm really starting to think there is something jacked up with my truck.

Lots of update's others have received, I've not. Hell, I'm still stuck at SYNC 23159 Rev 915.

I even downgraded the version of FDRS from latest to 37.4.7 to see if that would help.

If any of the gurus such as yourself or @Jesse-Infotainment want to take a run at the truck and see if something obvious jumps out at you ... I'd be happy to oblige.

Open to any thoughts / ideas.

I'll check again in the morning ...

I’d have to disagree with this. I do vin lookups all the time. In fact just did one today for a truck that I know does not have BC and it shows both IPMA and PSCM. In fact I also did that with my truck. That’s how I knew I had updates available. My IPMA took well over 3 hrs. The PSCM did take less than 10 min.
