Okay, maybe one of you gurus can help me.. I’m still on the same version of sync when I started updating this morning, Sync version 22177, Rev 473. I still don’t have the option for Amazon Alexa, so that leads me to believe I’m not past 3.2.1 yet. I have been checking all afternoon, but I haven’t hand anymore updates pop up on the tab. I am hoping to get it take care of tonight or tomorrow if fdrs is not down. I need to the mongoose back for the loaner thread

For your truck I believe that’s as far as you can go. Non nav 8” doesn’t have Alexa as far as I know.

Not even the 23 SuperDuty I got with 8” No Nav had Alexa.

Is there a way to run the PCM PATS programming without a NASTF SDRM credential? I don't mind paying $100 every 2 years, but I'm not starting a business and getting all the insurance they require just to program a second PCM to my own vehicle.
No. Dealer access or Locksmith login .

Oh man, I wasn’t aware of that. Darn work trucks. Thanks for your help sir!
No problem. I’ll check again in the morning to see if anything shows up. Sometimes that does happen but I believe that you’re at the latest for that truck

Yup. Maybe this DSP update actually works. The other one caused a popping sound on my base B&O system, and never disappears from FDRS even after install completes.
Yeah...but which one do you pick? The tooltip versions are the same for both.

And for the other truck I pulled....double BECM and GWM as well as the DSP.

Tried running the newer one (the one that just appeared), and it does the same f*cking thing - completes successfully but still shows as pending. And now when you try to run the other one, it displays a VCM error. Ford is a complete mess. I picture a couple (semi) trained monkeys banging on keyboards hoping that this time it works. Seriously awful software quality control.

So from your experience this morning I take it that the appearance of duplicates doesn't mean they released a corrected DSP package, but instead just means that they've got a server problem that's causing duplicates to be shown as available in FDRS on some modules. SSDD

No, it’s a different update package for sure. And equally broken.

So, one small bit of joy - at least after installing the newer (older? who knows) update that just showed up, I don't get the audio pop sound when I enter my truck (note that I have the standard B&O system, not the Unleashed version).

But overall, this is a mess that Ford needs to get sorted out. I'll be interested to hear what @Jesse-Infotainment thinks is going on between these two DSP updates.

Also note that the original DSP update will no longer install and shows the VCM error.

THey have pulled a lot of software packages. SO I wouldnt do anythign for a few days. THey seem to be workign on releasing a big set of updates.

You wont be able to do anythign for several modules.

Roger that. So I'll wait till next weekend to try and fix my poppin' fresh DSP. It's just annoying...not critical.

I had no intentions of touching fresh FDRS listings until you gave a thumbs up.
Thanks for posting

Same here generally, but I was hoping that even Ford couldn't do too much damage with a DSP update...
