? It turns green and says Run like in maybe ten seconds? Why, are you seeing something different?
Yep another member told me to just reset FDRS and redo it. It was just spinning at downloading.

Would something like this (Amazon link) work to maintain the battery?
No, that's a jump starter. You want a battery charger. This is the one I have:

https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GENIUS10-Fully-Automatic-Temperature-Compensation/dp/B07W3QT226/ref=sr_1_6?crid=3BWTDH0UB68DP&keywords=noco+agm+tender&qid=1687289210&s=automotive&sprefix=noco+agm+tender,automotive,87&sr=1-6&ufe=app_do:amzn1.fos.006c50ae-5d4c-4777-9bc0-4513d670b6bc

For FDRS updates, some will recommend a 20amp, but plenty of people have been successful with a 10amp charger like this one (including myself). I performed updates for 13 hours straight using this charger with no problems.

Will do! (on the FRDS scan)

I do make sure that I have a Bluetooth connection to the truck before launching FordPass. But the ProPower page still says "cellular"

I had this feature back when I purchased the truck in May. I USED the feature several times. Then I noticed folks on this forum complaining about having to go to the truck to launch ProPower. I posted several times that you shouldn't have to if you connect Bluetooth first. Then a month later I lost the functionality.

Your post showing that yours worked was the first I've seen in about 3 months.

I'm going to get it back! I'm stubborn as a mule now. Lol

Thanks again Jeb. /)
Snakebitten, on your 21, did you have the Bed Camera in motion before or after your updates?
Thx

Bed camera required updates, or Forscan editing before the updates were available.
I waited until the updates were done, rather than the Forscan approach

There was a problem with the IPC software on my truck which Jesse-Infotainment had to correct for me before cameras in motion would function. If I remember correctly it also requires a forscan edit. You may want to ask him to take a look at your truck for you. ?

Apologies, not doubting you word at all. Just curious since snakebitten had a truck built around the same time as mine. Just another data point for me Is all.

I don't have a PC but have a Macbook with Windows on it. Would this work for FDRS?

It's possible. All you can do is try it to see if you can get a successful scan of the truck. That would be the main hurdle.

I haven't tried it with FDRS and the Mongoose cable but tried it previously with Forscan and the Vlinker cable and could never get it to work. Kept running in to driver issues between the Mac and the VM software. If you're running Bootcamp though that might eliminate some of the complexity.

And its entirely possible that with the Mongoose cable/drivers it works just fine. As @Snakebitten said, one way to find out. ;)

**Edit to add that I do recall hearing someone able to successfully use Forscan on a Mac with Windows so its entirely possible (likely?) that it was user error on my part.
