Correct. I got some help from @antho and @Jesse-Infotainment. Both of these guys are top notch and I really appreciate their support. I've got a USB loaded with the appropriate files now and its installed in my media USB port. Now its a waiting game for the files to start loading. I've been told it can take up to a month (which is often the case). Man that's some messed up s@#t.

It took almost 2 weeks for it to install on my truck with the disk image Jesse-Infotainment made for me last year. You wont see it start the install, but as your driving at some moment you'll glance at your screen and it will say "update installed restart the truck" after that your off to the races! Good luck! ?

My USB download kicked in surprisingly. I am on SYNC 4 Revision 145 do I need to hook the mongoose back up and do more downloads or am I good to go now?

You are a long ways back with that version. That is 21146 Rev 145 if my records are correct. The latest is 23031 Rev 713 for 21 trucks. I would get the mongoose out and FDRS, the laptop and a cooler of beverages. Could be a long 2 days of updates. I may be wrong and someone can jump in and say so.

What bugs are you reffering to? I updated it and still have the carplay screetching noise when the system hangs up changing to cameras or a different screen.

Popping noise when opening the door. Update installed but still shows as pending. Had the rear speakers cut out.

? It turns green and says Run like in maybe ten seconds? Why, are you seeing something different?
