I couldn't get those skills currently in the library to work. Someone else that used those skills on another vehicle pointed out to me that they were for an older car/truck. Can't remember exactly what it was.

I just added the skill out of curiosity. Told Alexa/Echo to "Tell FordPass to start my car" It requested my pin, I told it my pin, and sure enough truck started. So, it works now.

You are 100% correct.
I was testing it at the same time you apparently were.

But now it succeeded!

I can also confirm the Alexa skill works with FordPass. Below is a list of commands.

Start Engine “Alexa, ask FordPass to start my car with PIN 1234.”

Stop Engine “Alexa, tell FordPass to stop the engine.”

Lock Vehicle “Alexa, ask FordPass to lock my vehicle.”

Unlock Vehicle “Alexa, tell FordPass to unlock my car.”

Last Command Status (used after lock/unlock and start/stop commands) “Alexa, what is the status of my last command using FordPass?”

Vehicle Mileage “Alexa, ask FordPass the odometer reading.”

Vehicle Range “Alexa, ask FordPass what is my range?”

Tire Pressure “Alexa, ask FordPass is my tire pressure low?”

Selected Vehicle “Alexa, ask FordPass what is my primary vehicle?”

List Vehicles “Alexa, tell FordPass to list all cars on the account.”

Switch Selected Vehicle “Alexa, switch my primary vehicle using FordPass.”

Start Charging (only available for compatible electric vehicles) "Alexa, ask FordPass to start charging my car."

Stop Charging (only available for compatible electric vehicles) "Alexa, ask FordPass to stop charging my car."

Vehicle Charge Level (only available for compatible electric vehicles) "Alexa, ask FordPass for my vehicle's charge level."

I use the Alexa skill to lock my truck every night at 10:30PM since I always forget. Same as my garage doors set to close at midnight if open. I've woken up the next morning with my garage door open or get a knock from the neighbors late at night wondering why I left it open.

Can't wait to get the update now, I can tell Alexa to open my garage as I'm pulling in without needing to press the button on my visor.

Yea.. I say alexa.. It beeps and I can say take me to wherever.. whats the weather.. call someone... it does it fast too. Really nice. I honestly thought I would never use it then I decided to try and activate it since it was there. I have a new 2023 version in my truck. I like it a lot.

The new 22228 that rolled out guys.. it is NIICE> The nav app on that version is the best I have ever seen. Smooth as they get the UI is buttery smooth. Man its nice. The whole interface is nice.

Now the 23 version I am running has incredibly new maps.. I installed the 22228 nav app in my 2023 version of sync 4 and its perfect. Its 22228 with the newest maps.

Soon I hope job 1 will see this version there is no excuse for it to not be out yet. I have tested and 22228 lost connectivity on the previous Gateway version we had but worked with HCK/HCL now that is the version we have.

Just installed GWM HCK/HCL on my 2021 and waiting patiently for the APIM update to show up!

@Shoebox72069, I'm doing the same. I got 2 small OTA's last month - the only ones since the truck was new, early 21 truck. I have FDRS and keep checking it. So far it shows ABS, BCM & now GWM and I want to see if it goes OTA.

Not 100% sure, but I don't think BCM updates can be done OTA.
