Thanks Jessie-

I was hoping you or one of the other experts would do this. Here's my evidence. Currently at 2.8.3 with BC and here's what's in the queue.....OTO's will stay off on my truck for a while.

Best

Ford assigned a case number for my OTA “downgrade” queue and I got a call back from a support specialist tonight. First thing she asked was “Is there something you need from us or are you passing on some information?” I said “I’m trying to inform you that your OTA deployment system almost caused me a lot of trouble and hopefully you can do something to prevent it from happening to others”. I think that set the tone for a very positive conversation. I explained the problem and I think she understood why I was concerned. I think she took me seriously because I was able to provide details of this and other OTA deployments that she could see at her end. In the end she seemed glad that I had the insight to turn off my automatic updates and recognized the problems Ford and their customers would have if this issue was widespread. She said her next step was to forward the information to the software deployment team. She thanked me for sharing this with her. She said the software team may reach out to me but I don’t think they will. The eff up is right there in front of them. I could see it clearly when someone sent me a screenshot of the OTA package details from PTS. If they actually do something about it, there won’t be any acknowledgement by Ford. They will fix it and move on.
I appreciate the assistance and advice given buy those much smarter than me that support this thread.

I really would like to have the generator connection for my house. I have had 2 different electricians out and when I try to explain about the bonded neutral they get a blank look on their face.
PM me, I will help you out with your "bonded neutral" issue

You need better-informed electricians. There are transfer switches/subpanels designed specifically for bonded-neutral generators. My electrician installed one from Reliance Controls. http://www.reliancecontrols.com/x-series-panel-link.aspx

OTAs don't seem to be completely backwards, at least for the folks behind. I've been getting updates via OTA every few days from 2.6, to 2.7.1, Recall 22S17, and now 2.7.3 (skipped 2.7.2 or it was rolled into Recall 22S17).

I keep auto updates off until I can see if it's an upgrade (not downgrade) and when I can hook up my battery charger.

It hasn't followed the wiki page exactly and I've had a few blank OTAs, or failed attempts, but overall the process seems to be improving. It's disheartening to hear that it's going backwards in some cases.

Has Ford done any update to put the dash blinker lights back where they belong instead of the extreme upper corners? I hate that they moved after the Blue Cruise updates.
Seriously, I thought I was alone on this. I hate them being where they are now.

Definitely not alone, I have to crane my neck just to see them. Thankfully Ford decided to use the loudest sound known to man to confirm the turn signal is working...the turn signal clicker!

Has anyone seen an update for the APIM on a 2021 PB JOB 2 yet? I've recently applied a couple of GWM updates but still have not seen a single APIM update. My truck is still running v4.0.21136 Rev 134.

My hope is that some engineer at Ford reads these and the Mach E forums to keep up with what I would called more advanced cutting edge users and spot potential problems.

Then again, maybe they don't give a crap
I just got an update request ota in Ford pass for 2.7.3 even though I already had auto update turned off. I am ignoring it but it is asking to perform three steps to update and asking to connect to wifi which is off I think

Mines still looking to install 2.1.0 even though I'm fully up to date! I also only have updates OFF and haven't deleted the schedule. I don't understand what the heck Ford is trying to do. They have to have the most inept software engineers in the world! So far nothing has installed on mine and I hope it stays that way until this all "SYNC's" LOL with Ford's systems.
