FDRS Friday update... ACM was still showing as needed after 3 update attempts (all apparently successful). Today, Sunday, ACM is still showing as having an available update. Anyone else bump into this?

None of my updates stuck around even I did them yesterday once they completed successfully, ACM included. I have a 502A with the regular B&O if it makes a difference.

So I downloaded the infamous BCM update that has been disabling lighting modules on some trucks - and the software that FDRS currently sends down for my specific truck (2021 Job 1 Lariat, 501A) shows a date of 1/17/2024. I'm wondering if MAYBE they fixed the issue? Any thoughts on this, @Jesse-Infotainment?

Wait.
You aren't going to do that are you?

Regardless of what Jesse says, are you going to click "download", and then "run"? ?

Sorry for the trolling. I just can't stop myself. (I honestly wish no ill for a truck that already has suffered enough)

Just downloaded. It puts the files in the C:\ProgramData\Ford Motor Company\FDRS\fdrs\data\otx_app directory. In there is a file named G2161053_en_US.jar, and in there are the Java class files that will handle the install sequence. Those are dated 1/18/2024. That's encouraging, I think. AFAIK we have no reports of lighting modules being toasted after that date. But I'm still not ready to pull the trigger on the actual install quite yet.

I also noticed that the TSB regarding this issue was dated November 2023, so Ford has certainly had some time to potentially implement a solution.

Waiting for Jesse to chime in.

My CMR update failed in FDRS and had to be completed in Forscan this week. Then the subsequent IPMA update bricked the module and luckily was recoverable after the truck shut down.

Did yours end up going alright?!
Thanks to @Jesse-Infotainment and the Forscan developer(s) I was able to fix the CMR module tonight and I'm all up-to-date now.

Question for you programming experts. My truck has been at the dealer for 2 weeks now getting the DSP module replaced (I had a popping sound when starting the truck). They tried to update my original DSP module back in October and failed, so a new one was ordered. They can't get the new one to work in the truck, so they're now waiting on Ford engineering to help them out. Are you guys aware of challenges trying to get these programmed? They have no timeline for me to get this sorted out because of the backlog at Ford.

It kept failing due to a part number error. They tried programming it several times and kept getting the same error.

Thanks for the response (again)!
Interesting. I forgot to mention that I had it in back in early January, and they said they got the wrong part # module in, so they had to order another one which they got in a couple weeks ago. Looks like the same issue they described to me the first time around. This is actually my 3rd visit for this DSP module now.
Missing my much simpler 2010 truck a bit these days. These electronic issues have me nervous now that my bumper to bumper warranty is gone. This work order was opened before it ran out, so I'm on my own from here on.

tHIS ISSUE IS ON fORDS END. They installed the correct DSP> FDRS has an issue on the back end. Its failing due to it saying not finding the Bootloader. Its an issue I have had to help several dealers with it and flash teh DSP manually.

Ford has an issue in the manifest for programming the DSP
