I ran both the IPMA and the PSCM update. Those updates went smooth took just over 3 hours. However, I now have a SECM and SASM DTC. Neither can communicate with the ABS Module. I tried clearing them multiple times.

Update: the steering wheel exclamation icon just disappeared. I will rerun fdrs later to verify

Update 2: I have driven 2 hours on Interstate 65. Blue cruise only engaged twice for a total of 5 minutes. I stopped at a truck stop, found DTC for SECM, SASM, IPMA. Ans PSCM. All of them said they could not communicate with the ABS Module 'A'. I tested them twice each and cleared them out. Everything is green now. Hopefully the next leg BlueCruise engages. (And for the record BlueCruise worked fine yesterday, prior to updated rhe IPMA and PSCM). I rerun a network scan and PSCM, SASM and SECM came back with DTCs again. I could clear them out manually. I'm not sure what to do here.

Thanks to @Jesse-Infotainment for helping me through the IPMA update. Had to abort but all was updated. Had a little issue with the SCCM configuration but that was due to the Glare Free setting being removed during the SCCM update. Reverted to the updated value for Glare Free and all good. Long 2 day process but every module has been updated.

Had a little issue with the SCCM configuration but that was due to the Glare Free setting being removed during the SCCM update. Reverted to the updated value for Glare Free and all good. Was your IPMA update still in your list after you applied it. Mine updated but is still showing as an available update??….. might just be a Ford server communication issue.

I’ve done a network scan again and it usually clears the update from the list. If not its no big deal.

Haha, guess what I ordered and just showed up today?! Used one the other day a tech had and worked great, so knew I had to pull the trigger on one.

Was your IPMA update still in your list after you applied it. Mine updated but is still showing as an available update??….. might just be a Ford server communication issue.
Need some advice...IPMA has been running now a total of 8 or so hours...the last 5 or so on "module is now being configured". Truck shut off. Seems to be in an endless loop. Should I wait, abort or something else.

Aborted, restarted everything, ran a PMI on the IPMA and everything came back just fine, but the update still shows up in the list now and didn't want to/have time to try it again and wait another 2+ hours in case it had to do it all over again.

Like two minutes, not long at all.

I was about to try it again as I figured it would run right through it to check and confirm everything then be done just like yours, but didn't want to chance it. Ha, its warm there, currently -2 here, feels like -18, and the wind isn't even blowing yet...

No. It showed as updated. There were a bunch of orange modules but I think there were just comm errors that cleared with a DTC reset. Can than Jesse enough for helping out. Definitely stressful when you think you may have bricked your truck...

Hey guys....help me welcome @Junx69 to the forum. He just got one of my Mongooses. He is having the issue where he can't sign in to FDRS since he is a first-time user. Aside from going back to an older version of FDRS, has anyone found a way to work around this problem without reverting back an older version?

  1. uninstall FDRS
  2. reboot computer
  3. download and save FDRS from here https://www.motorcraftservice.com/diagnostic/Support?channelId=50&categoryId=276
  4. once the download is complete100%, do not open the file.
  5. go to your DOWNLOADS folder and right click on FDRS 38.5.7 then select Run As Administrator to start the installation.
  6. go to www.motorcraftservice.com using MS Edge browser and login. then minimize the browser window..
  7. launch FDRS, select INDEPENDETN OPERATOR/NON-DEALER as a user type, country = USA, click on Login tab.
  8. login using the same email address and password of motorcraftservice.com.

Just a thought try the same procedure but clear out your cookies in MS edge before your log in to Motorcraft.

I just tried this myself and I continue to get an error message at startup “Internal Error”

I’ve not been able to even enter the license numbers….
Did you go to the control panel of your computer to uninstall any previous versions of FDRS? The procedure didn't work for me at first when I only put the installed version into the recycling box. I had to physically uninstall through the control panel. Once I did and reinstalled it works now every time I login. I'm not the most computer savvy so I had to do some research to figure out how to wipe the corrupted versions first. Hope this helps
