Mine sure as shit was not faster, took just over 3 hours start to finish.AFAIK that's only for 8" clusters. 12" display was much faster.
I guess I better get the battery charger out!Mine sure as shit was not faster, took just over 3 hours start to finish.
That's what I did. Even with a good battery I wasn't taking chances. No reason to give the truck any chance of rejecting it!I guess I better get the battery charger out!
Still on sale, too.been trying to update to 6.8 for daysssss for some reason something keeps interupting the progress or it says it'll try on the next scheduled time. i tried to manually do it and it said something about postponing.
Im assuming my battery level is too low.
also, whats everyones take on a great charger to have while doing FDRS updates?
That’s what I purchased and worked great for FDRS updates and ForScan changes.
The generic message will always say interrupted. It's low battery level nearly every time. It is winter in most of country so batteries tend to get low from cold starts. You can check battery SOC in Forscan and OBDLink app on a Bluetooth device if you are curious what the truck thinks about the battery.been trying to update to 6.8 for daysssss for some reason something keeps interupting the progress or it says it'll try on the next scheduled time. i tried to manually do it and it said something about postponing.

wonder if i should just throw a battery charger on it for a bit and see if i can raise the SOC and battery level just a bit.The generic message will always say interrupted. It definitely won't hurt. In your case, the OTA you have currently failing is reporting VERY substandard battery conditions. Capacity is very low and SoC is low, too.wonder if i should just throw a battery charger on it for a bit and see if i can raise the SOC and battery level just a bit.

I am inclined to say to run a PMI on the IPMA and when FDRS asks if it is the original module, you select "no". However, I would wait for @Jesse-Infotainment to see this and chime in first.Need some advice...IPMA has been running now a total of 8 or so hours...the last 5 or so on "module is now being configured". Truck shut off. Seems to be in an endless loop. Should I wait, abort or something else.
Thanks. Sent him a PM also so I'll hang tight for now.I am inclined to say to run a PMI on the IPMA and when FDRS asks if it is the original module, you select "no". However, I would wait for @Jesse-Infotainment to see this and chime in first.
Let us know what he recommends several people have come across this same issue.Thanks. Sent him a PM also so I'll hang tight for now.
just threw the battery charger here at work on there. hope its enough haha thanks for checking for me!It definitely won't hurt. In your case, the OTA you have currently failing is reporting VERY substandard battery conditions. Capacity is very low and SoC is low, too.
