Got my IPC updated just fine this afternoon. This will be much nicer as this is the update I've been waiting for to better see what predictive speed assist is actually doing. As you can see it shows a different style speed limit sign as it slows down to that speed. Haven't tried any turns yet but I would image it will be the image Jesse shared the other day with the turning sign.

Is that exclusive to BC trucks?

Nope, it's the next version of speed sign recognition that popped up a few months ago in newer software. Check my Add ACC sheet in my sig on where to enable it in the APIM, but you most likely need the latest IPMA software, which since you have a 21 might not have yet?

I LOVE what you have done!

I'm just saying that those decisions actually have a higher co$t than the acquisition price of the parts themselves.
And I think you are simply acknowledging the same. :)

You can have exactly what you want.
You just gotta know how to dodge and weave your way around Ford's OTA automation.
Is there a repository of ford update files somewhere?

If there was it wouldn't be discussed on here. No one has time to deal with Ford's lawyer army.

That's what I thought it was something on new IPMA that us old trucks don't get to play with yet. Should be coming eventually if the rapid software updates continue.

Not one that I have access to.
But I have no doubt there are clever fellas that have amazing spread sheets with records of VINs reflecting every possible build configuration.
And anyone with a truck and FDRS has the ability to harvest the files for module updates on their vehicle.
I'm guessing that there are also tools that I'm completely unaware of that some folks might have access to?

Put all that together and......well, you can see what a file library that might be built.

Me? I'm way too lazy for the endevor. Lol

We should start a betting pool of when/if we'll ever see it in F150s. Juuust when they're ready to push it out, they'll hold off to wait to push BC1.5, and then 1.6, or just wait until 2.0 is baked enough to roll out...
1.4 should start showing up in Jan is my guess. MMEs are in EA release of it right now. They release in batches and wait for confirmation of success before each additional batch. The 7.0 update contains 4 modules in 1 go so there's a higher chance of issues. Those with forscan changes, I'd suggest backing up the modules you've changed to make reverting your features easier.

Here's the MME modules that get update with 7.0 - Only the IPMA would have the possibility of being forscan'd

This started showing up after the ipc update ? I did mine yesterday and it’s not showing up.

2023 has Predictive speed assist. Its not available on 21 yet. 21 has speed sign recognition. It will come soon we hope since they have started rolling out the 1.4 updates

Why is this popping up after doing all my updates ? I should be on the equivalent of 6.8.

That will not reflect manually installed updates. Only OTA updates

What Jesse said, you have the software in the IPC and APIM most likely but not the IPMA where the magic happens. You could try to enable it but most likely no go.

Many people are seeing phantom install icons on their screens with the current round of 6 x.x ota's. When you push install now button, it's displaying the last completed ota.

Big thanks to Jessie for all the help over the last few days. I had an issue with FDRS being unable to install the recent SCCM update and I had a PDU update that wouldnt clear. He spent a few hours working with me to troubleshoot the issues and getting everything fixed up.

We're really lucky to have him around here offering us his time and knowledge.
