SCCM was one of the files for 1.3 migration on MME, still quite a few to go. Was curious when the SCCM would show up. What sync are you on? I've got 980 installed with another pending which should bring it up to 10xx that showed up last week.

What's MME?
mach-e, they've been favoring them in the update to 1.3 as the 2023.5s already come with it. They broke something with the 21s and stalled progress for several weeks while the figure it out. It looks like they've sent out some patches with no "power up" numbers attached trying to mitigate it so things may be back on track soon back when we were getting 1-2 updates a week.

I wish they'd send out a patch to the f*cked up ABS update they released. Not only does it hang around after installation, but I've also gotten a couple transient DTC's on the APIM module regarding getting bad data from the ABS module.

Mine is still hanging around but I didn't update the PCM as well due to tune. Wanted to wait for the strat to be incorporated before going through the procedure again.

Been doing updates all morning. Started the CCM update about 2 hours ago, its a multi-module update including the Driver Monitoring system and IPMA so far. Should have done this in October when the weather was nicer, lol.

Not patch needed. I installed the ABS and although it didn’t clear the FDRS queue, it installed fine. New software versions showed up in various nodes and no DTCs for me. Only the cloud as-built data is out of sync. Locally, it’s fine.

It wouldn’t make a difference to apply the PCM as far as the ABS clearing the queue. In FDRS, for Powerboosts, the PCM, ABS and SOBDMC are chained. ABS stays in the queue even when the other two are installed.

In FDRS is there a way to see the size of the update?
No. All FDRS updates done via CAN are done via an app. When you hit "download", it is not downloading the files, but an app that runs the update procedure and pulls the files from the servers as needed. When updating modules that require the USB, FDRS will download the files to the USB and then you can see the size of the update in terms or MBs or GBs before you pop the USB drive into the truck.

Thanks yea the CCM/IPMA update took almost 4 hours via CAN. Hoping to know what I’m getting into ahead of time, but no big deal.
CMR takes a while, too. IPC updates that do not go through and have to be CAN'd in are the most painful ones of all as far as time goes.

Even when the update is via CAN bus, the files are downloaded and saved locally; it’s just that they saved to the hard drive only prior to installation instead of to the hard drive and then copied to the USB. You can see the files downloaded for both CAN bus installation and USB installation at C:/ProgramData/Ford Motor Company/FDRS/fdrs/data/vehicle_software.
