This is a really interesting solution to the USB Error 0 problem. Well done. But I was wondering if something a little less extreme might also work. Have you tried deleting just the downloaded software files directly and redownloading instead of deleting the entire program? The downloaded files can be found at c:/ProgramData/Ford Motor Company/FDRS/fdrs/data/vehicle_software

So I tried to go that route and I was in the completely wrong file directory (program files x86). I just checked and sure enough they are there. I also checked the date created for the folders themself and looks like you can delete the entire vehicle_software folder and that would have the same result.

I need to correct myself. @Livnitup said I had an ipma update and after that one the gwm and apim may release.

Pay attention to the battery voltage! The IPMA is a long one and you don't want it failing due to a low voltage...

Good tip, so far this thing is doing ok.

Looks like I had a bad internet connection. Hotspot to the phone and clicked run again. And it went through

Sundays mid-morning (Central time) are usually when server maintenance is going on. Saturdays should be fine.

I got the IPMA completed along with ABS and some others. This on an Oct 2020 build where the Sync version is blank and system updates can’t be configured. This is what it is showing right now. Any specific order I should follow to update?
