Funny note, the ‘22 owners adding the ‘21 HVAC controllers really wanted a fix to get rid of the ‘ugly’ screen layout with temps. Forescanning to remove them. Now the full feature ‘21 owners are adding in a ‘22 “enhancement”.
Kind of ironic.

Both pictures are with 22228. The first one was before Unreal, second one after.
I broke down and paid for the Ford navigation. Here is the map info before and after update. I take pictures of everything to compare.

I think that is the nav app version and maybe not the maps. There were no map files in the update. I do know for sure the nav app was updated.

Thanks! Clearly mine is not working but not sure I want it.

Allows the temps to be displayed on the screen and the dials if you have a 21.

For those interested, Alexa just showed up. Almost a 24 hour delay exactly from the time I did the master reset yesterday. FYI

Good news! Maybe mine will kick in eventually. My last master reset was around 3pm Sunday.

Edit - HAHAHA I just opened up the FordPass app and of course Alexa is ready to go now.

So, I have a job 1 2021 that I’m in the midst of updating. Figured out it’s stuck with the 1.7.1 update and will end up probably having to force the TSB for the APIM another day.

Question, if my 2 day FDRS license expires today, does it expire exactly on the hour activated or at midnight? I’m in the middle of updating the instrument cluster panel and what prompted was going to be up to 3 hours is now going on 4 so far on still Step 1 of 2.

i should have anything done except the APIM at least. I ordered the Ethernet adapters so hopefully in the near future I will try again, unless it finally decides to read the usb.

Your license is effectively three days. You get the day you buy it and two full calendar days after that. It is not 48 hours. So, you have until midnight of the last day.

I'm going to be very interested how Ford rolls this one out. It was a 6GB download, I'm not sure how that all works flawlessly OTA. Buckle up folks!

if they just figure out how to use my home internet it can download in 7 minutes at 1 gig speed ! I am still confused why the truck only connects for very short periods to my home wifi ?

It’ll be a real mess if it doesn’t work OTA. Everybody who received 3.5.2 OTA received a notice that they’d be getting a follow up software release “soon.” Really misleading if they can only get it at the dealer or via an FDRS self-help session.
