Thanks!! Looks like I’m re-upping FDRS as I don’t think the truck is going to fix itself
Don’t yet. I can possibly send you the files to put on a usb

My truck tried to download 2.6.0 and I'm at 2.8.3. I'm glad it failed. I've disabled automatic updates. Clearly something is wrong with the system they've implemented.

What's Ford up to?
They can't possibly have a sync problem between FDRS, OTA, and cloud database records for current ASbuilt values?

No way. What a mess that could make. And wouldn't we have seen this already? Or is this the first example of what could be the next OTA mess?

Gotta be an anomaly. ????

10-4, I’m out and about for the next couple of hours so it’ll be a while anyways
Not only did it install an old version on your APIM it did on your TCU. So Ill look at what files I can get right now.

EDIT - TCU is fine. It actually updated it to the correct level. DJ. I dont see why or what happened to the OTA for the APIM I have no idea as to why it reverted to the level it did.

Only thing I can think is since you were one that had the failed OTA and blanked out version they sent it out. I think its stupid how ford does the Updates sequentially. It make zero sense. If htere is an update wouldnt the latest update hold all the latest info? WHo knows but all you need to do it install the update for the APIM again. THe config thankfully didnt change from what I can see.

Ill send you a link for the files to load onto a USB here in a few.

I see Ford is trying to push OTA 2.8.1 to my truck which would be a setback, as I'm at 22095. Thankfully failed. I'll be turning off autoudates as well. I've spent to much time with this to watch my work dissappear.
Jesse take a look if you're interested.

Just checked my truck auto updates were set to OFF! Last week when I checked the setting there were ON, I am able to turn them off and on in settings. And both positions report correctly in fordpass. But what the heck is going on here!
