Argh, it's been over a month since I got 2.8.2 pushed to me and still no 2.8.3. Not that I'm missing any features but it's annoying that the OTA's aren't coming again. Looks like a weekend of FDRS to get caught up since the last time.
What Sync version corresponds to 2.8.3?

Ok...so via FDRS I was able to get my self to 22095 Rev 421 (2.8.3) but only after doing my IPC update. Like I posted above, unfortunately nothing new to report for a non BC non 360 XLT 302a with 8" cluster, which is quite disappointing!

So for a non BC, non 360 XLT 302a with 8" cluster, the latest updates do not enable backup camera in motion or add any additional cards to support the backup camera in motion. Frankly, I don't see anything new in any of the Sync menus or on my IPC as a result of the latest updates.
You and I have the same setup and I don’t have in motion camera for the tailgate cam either. I don’t see any noticeable difference in the 22095 APIM/Sync update.

I'm same setup, but with the addition of 360 cams. I do get bed, hitch, and tailgate in motion. The IPC was not anything noticeable that I can tell. Was nice to have a 3 .6 hour update vs the 6 hour for the previous update. IPC kicked off GWM and then APIM in that order.

I’m pretty sure those with rear cam only would be able to enable rear cam in motion with Forscan. I’ll look at your vin @TJSparky and let you know what to change to enable it

Thanks Jesse! I tried this but the dash went a little crazy when it was enabled. However that was with an older version of the APIM.

Nah. You don’t need any of that. Try the change I made above and you should be good. As long as what I see online matches what is in the truck

I just want to report that the IPC update definitely fixed the “losing all your default settings” bug that plagued the 8” IPC display.

In fact I didn’t realize that it’s normal to be reminded every single time if I want to return to eco or not, regardless of how long my truck is off. It would never bother to remind me if the truck spent the night powered down.

Jesse- With the 40XX part, do I actually put in 40xx or is the xx saying leave what is already in place. My stock value shows
7D0-01-04 03E4 - 8000 - 4083

THANKS JESSE!! IT WORKS PERFECTLY! You Rock man!
Is there anyway to remove the black warning banner in the center stating "Please Check Your Surroundings" or is that just the nature of the beast?

Thanks again. Jesse the WIZARD! ?‍♂
