Through a dealership, updates became successful June 7-8 but I am not sure of how many updates are still pending. As of June 9, I began getting multiple messages on Ford Pass that say, ALARM TRIGGERED "...security system has detected vehicle intrusion and triggered the alarm at <time & date>. These messages are all between midnight and 3:30 am. There have been no intrusions-no audible alarms and the three Dobermans slept peacefully every night. Could these messages be related to the Automatic Updates or the Recurring Schedule for Updates which I have set for every night after 12am? Has anyone else experienced this situation?

I took my 21 in to the dealership and parked it overnight so it could be serviced the next morning. I kept getting intrusion alarms and was at the dealership the next morning on the way to work to find out if my truck had been broken into.

It was a moth that got into the cab and was flying around. The truck was fine.

Hi there! Can you send us a message with your VIN and Ford dealership name? I’ll look into this on my end. Thanks!

Thank you for your interest.

1FTFW1ED5MFB77138 Champion Ford, Edinboro PA, odometer is less than 2000 miles

They were able to get updates and activate Blue Cruise June 8 & 9. They said there was only one more update left, but I do not know which one. A person on the F150 Gen 14 forum looked up my vin and he said there were 11 updates remaining.
Ford Pass showed no new alarm triggers for last night.

Phone is more convenient for me if ok with you. 406-437-4148

Thank you,

@tonesto If he goes back to remove the number, you need to do the same in your "quoted" portion of his post. He won't be able to edit that.

On a side note. I was one of the individuals who apim usb stick finally took after a month waiting for a apim replacement. Ford emailed today stating they are reopening my IT ticket to try to find out why all of a sudden after all that time the truck took the update. Seems like everyone is a little curious what is going on?

They can look at my truck as well. The usb stick sat in the truck for 30 days and then randomly kicked off one day while I was at Sonic.

Out of curiosity have you received OTA updates since? I updated my manually and I was curious if everything is fixed on the OTA end.

I spoke with ford software people today. My truck kicked off the software update after a couple weeks, but I have not hooked up the fdrs software again because I don't want to pay for another subscription until I am ready to update all the modules. Bottom line their system can only look back 60 days for updates and if it has been over 60 days you basically are not in the system for ota they suggested taking it back to the dealer so they can hook truck up to ford and update fords system. Does anyone know if I hook fdrs back up to my truck and log into fdrs will that update ford's system

So I updated all the way to Blue Cruise manually and stopped using FDRS since my license expired back in March. A couple of weeks ago I got 2.8.2 sent via OTA. Still waiting for 2.8.3 and the TRM recall as well.

Yes, so long as you perform a network scan after you log in—and network scans are automatic if you use the read VIN from vehicle function. FDRS will also update the system after you apply a software update. There is also a button in FDRS to run a network scan on demand. Any of these will do it. It’s actually kind of hard to work in FDRS and not trigger a network scan eventually.

My dealer called this afternoon and wants me to bring my truck in tomorrow for the 22B08 recall to update the TCU module. I have mixed feeling about letting them work on it. Advice?
