Can someone please check my VIN, 1FTFW1ED9MFA89595 and confirm the dealer, in fact, completed the updates to enable blue cruise? I dropped it off Monday morning and hope to pick it up Thursday morning..

So after a year of no updates, two weeks in the shop at two different dealerships. A new apim on order for a month, of course the usb apim update started today and finished. The truck has made it through the starts and held onto 22146. If the revision holds till tomorrow morning it looks like tomorrow I am renewing my FDRS license.

Ofcourse the update started on a 2 minute drop of the kids run. That usb had been plugged in for a month.

Are there any major time reduction benefits to using a VCM 3 instead of a VCMM or VCM 2 for software updates?

They all seem to work fine for these updates, but I don’t know if a VCM 3 performs any of these tasks any faster.

Are the main VCM 3 differences just FD CAN and DoIP support?

First OTA update I got since doing all the FDRS options myself. I purposely didn’t upgrade the TRM manually cause I wanted to make sure the recall gets cleared from the VIN… glad to know OTA… is somewhat working for recall options.

Check to make sure you got the latest version. One person asked me to check for him and he did not. He got -BA OTA.

My Job 1 2021 F150 Powerboost received the PowerUp update overnight for the TRM. I logged into the Motorcraftservice.com site, plugged in my VIN and looked at the OTA status. It now shows the version now as *-BB for the TRM. This is the second PowerUp update my truck received since purchasing in Feb 2021. I did recently upgrade all modules using FDRS to enable BC. I don't use BC much, but I am still enjoying the much improved transmission shift / EV characteristics.

Check to make sure you got the latest version. One person asked me to check for him and he did not. He got -BA OTA.

OK so quick note. You need to wait awhile after the truck updates to get the correct software version. After mine updated the TRM OTA… I went and downloaded the latest data, it showed -BA under the F188. After I waited about 6 hours I check again and now its showing -BB. So I would give it time to upload to the mothership.

I still dont get ota updates. Job 1 truck. Last one was Nov 2021. Thats when 1.7.1 broke everyones trucks. Been doing updates myself. Frustrating as hell.

Yeah. I am aware that there’s a lag, but the one I looked at this afternoon was supposedly updated OTA overnight and the as-built on Motorcraft still shows -BA as of 8pm CDT. That’s a pretty long lag. Hopefully it’s just an unusually long lag and will eventually update.
